Lisa Rinna admitted that her recent use of filler was a bit much after being criticized online following an appearance at the Fashion Trust U.S. Awards on Tuesday.
After the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 60, walked the red carpet at the event, where fans noticed her face looking far more plump than usual, Lisa responded to a video shared by cosmetic injector Nicole Smith, which spoke of her face being “over-filled.”
“The key with doing dermal fillers or Botox is to maintain your youthful look, not to alter and change your appearance,” Nicole had stated on TikTok. “They placed too much filler in the cheeks and midface. It completely throws off the full facial balance.”
Following the sharing of the TikTok, Lisa offered a comment confirming she had used Skinvive, which is described on its website as “a modified hyaluronic acid gel that’s injected as intradermal microdroplets below the surface of the skin, increasing hydration to improve cheek smoothness.”
“Skinvive is not for everyone and it was not good for me. Luckily we could dissolve it today. Whew,” Lisa wrote.
Earlier this week, Lisa’s look was shared on Instagram as she walked the red carpet at Tuesday’s event.
The video of Lisa garnered quite a lot of attention from Instagram users, many of whom shared their thoughts about her look.
“That surgeon should be in prison,” one person stated.
“Her cheeks were tired of her lips winning and decided to compete!” another suspected.
“Her face is beginning to look like those dolls ventriloquist use. Scary,” shared a third.
Others accused Lisa of ruining her face and asked, “What happened?”
“She’s gone too far with the plastic surgery,” someone replied.
Another person said Lisa was “so pretty before she did this to herself.”
Then, as the former RHOBH cast member was compared to Kylie Jenner, 26, one Instagram user said, “She really needs to stop the surgeries she looks like her cheeks are made out of stone.”
