MTV has dropped the first trailer for the upcoming season of Teen Mom: Family Reunion, and it teases a drama-filled arc for star Maci Bookout.
The clip shows Maci, 32, breaking down in tears while discussing marital woes with her husband, Taylor McKinney.
The scene highlighted the Teen Mom OG star couple’s therapy session with Taylor, 32.
She hinted at troubles in paradise by claiming Taylor made a remark about her parenting of their seven-year-old daughter, Jade.
“He said he would not want his daughter to become the mother that I am,” Maci, 32, said, choking back tears.
Their therapist then insisted that the couple talk about their issues.

Maci’s ex has been in and out of prison for the last year due to drugs, harassment, and other charges.
“There’s a lot of temperature checking for [me and my husband, Taylor] because obviously, our past with Ryan has not been the greatest, it has not been easy and [it’s been] really, really bad at times,” the TV star told the Daily Mail.
“I feel pressure because I’m trying to support [my son] Bentley and do the right thing by him, and I’m learning how to even communicate and have a relationship with Ryan at all.

“But then, [Taylor] is my husband, and he has raised Bentley with me, so there’s just a lot of temperature checking that goes on,” Maci added.
She then noted that she was trying to “not forget to check my own temperature and figure out what my boundaries are and what I’m OK with and what I’m comfortable with. It’s been a lot.”
Taylor added his input, “You’re going to see us probably at a better point in a co-parenting relationship than we had been in a long time.”
PARENTING GOALS
Maci then said about raising their three kids, “Bentley is getting older. He’s about to go to high school, so parenting at this stage is so different than parenting our younger two.
“It’s fun, but it’s a lot of… Now’s the time when you actually have to let go a little bit and let them make decisions, let them screw up, let them figure it out.
“And that’s hard to do sometimes. Very hard to do.”
