Plus, the RHOBH mom gave an update on the status of Portia’s driver’s license.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Kyle Richards isn’t just a regular mom, she’s a cool mom.
Kyle became the ultimate cool mom when she took her 16-year-old daughter, Portia Umansky, to Coachella 2024 during the first weekend it was on, where Kyle hung out with her niece, Paris Hilton, musician, Kesha, and jammed out to No Doubt.
Kyle took to Amazon Live on April 16, where she revealed all of the details on Portia’s big Coachella experience and shared how her youngest is growing up so fast.

Kyle had so much fun taking a trip to her La Quinta home (which is about 30 minutes from Palm Springs) over the weekend. But it was her youngest daughter who had the time of her life.
“Portia had such a great time at Coachella,” Kyle revealed during the livestream. “She told me she is having withdrawals today.”
Kyle said that her six bedroom vacation home is “very close to Coachella” so they (including Kesha, who stayed with the Housewife) were able to walk to the festival. “This was the first year that Portia has been able to go with her friend… but this time she went and did her own thing,” she said, “Which was kind of interesting and fun.”
This allowed for Portia, who is still in high school, to get a taste of freedom. “She has her permit but not her license, yet,” Kyle said. “[She] just feels independent. She’s a very good girl, she checks in all the time, and she had a blast.”

Not only is Portia getting to do Coachella on her own, but she is also about to be driving very soon. That means that Kyle will no longer have to pick her or anyone up from school, which is something that she has been doing for quite some time.
Cue the tears.
Kyle posted a photo of her in the school pickup line to her Instagram Story on Wednesday, where she got sentimental about this chapter in her life coming to a close. “Sat here in carpool today thinking about how long I’ve been doing this and how grateful I am for my drives to and from school with my girls,” Kyle wrote over the photo. “Portia will have her license soon and then this part of my life will be done. Time is a thief.”
