Scheana Shay just went back to her roots. You see, a long, long time ago (2005-2006), Scheana worked as a Chili’s waitress. Fast forward to this week in 2024, and she’s got her old uniform on again, hustling through another busy shift. When their famous Baby Back Ribs needed serving, our girl volunteered as tribute, standing in the gap for their precious BBQ-sauced delights.
I love a good hustler. Scheana’s always working, forever promoting brands, and continually releasing bops. She’s also a Vanderpump Rules star, a mother, a wife, and a friend, which are all pretty time-consuming gigs. Somehow, Sheshu’s doing it all these days, and now, I just need her to come down and work a shift at a Chili’s in Tampa.

TMZ snapped several shots of Scheana this week, as she traveled from table to table at her local Chili’s. As she served, she happily sat and chatted with the thrilled guests, pausing to take photos and truly connect with their patrons. It’s giving early VPR days when she’d serve up Lisa Vanderpump’s fried goat cheese balls to the fans. And also, when she had to go and fetch Stassi Schroeder’s order of Pinot Grigio.
Side note time. I’m so glad that Scheana and Stassi are in a great place these days. That’s all.

As for why Scheana just took on a shift at Chili’s, it’s not because she’s missing her old gig. Instead, it’s because this chain has hired both her and Katie Maloney to help promote their new cocktail, the Espresso Martini. But wait, this has been done before, you might be claiming from your beds, unimpressed, even though you’ve created nothing original on your end in quite some time. Well, Chili’s has made one change to this classic drink, as they’re using tequila Katie instead of vodka, so there.
Another side note sesh. I’m equally happy to see Scheana and Katie thriving together as a team. Cue Forrest Gump saying “That’s all I have to say about that.”
