Margaret Josephs had some pointed words when she heard about Teresa Giudice and Taylor Swift. The most divisive Real Housewives of New Jersey star got the chance to snag a photo with the pop idol.

Teresa wasn’t the only Bravolebrity to find a link to Taylor during this year’s Coachella. James Kennedy caught Swift’s attention with his Cruel Summer remix. And frankly, no one can blame the Bravolebrities for trying to feed off of Taylor’s clout. Anyone would.

Well, except perhaps Marge. When Teresa’s photo with Taylor came to Margaret’s attention, she did not seem at all impressed.

Margaret says it’s time for Teresa to “give it up”

On April 14, Teresa and the official Bravo IG account posted a photo with Taylor posing alongside the RHONJ star. The caption read, “Coachella (Teresa’s Version),” with photo credits going to Luis Ruelas. On that same day, Margaret got the chance to speak with The U.S. Sun. When The Sun brought up the post, Marge didn’t hold back her criticism.

“That’s pretty funny. When Housewives of New Jersey are hitting Coachella, I think it’s time to give it up,” she said. “That’s all I have to say.” Marge’s comment echoed similar sentiments to critics on Instagram. For example, one commenter asked if Taylor Swift even had any idea of who Teresa was.

Labeling Housewives as out of touch has always been an easy feat. They’re generally rich older adults who aren’t exactly plugged into the worries and interests of the common man. Teresa in particular has never seemed like a Housewife who’s exactly down to earth. This idea is what Margaret seemed to be getting at.

Then again, who are we to tell people how to enjoy their time? If Teresa had a good time at Coachella, more power to her.
