Former Real Housewives of Orange County star Dr. Jen Armstrong has reunited with estranged husband Ryne Holliday – exactly two years after filing a legal separation.
The aesthetics physician, 44, confirmed to Dailymail.com that she and Ryne are officially back together and working on their marriage.
‘We’re taking it one day at a time and trying not to get into past poor relationship cycles which is easier said than done,’ she explained.
Dr. Armstrong admitted that she and Ryne have been ‘on and off for a while’, but have been officially back together for the last six months.
While she initially kept their reconciliation private, the celebrity injector finally went Instagram official with the happy news last week.
She shared a series of photos of herself and Ryne on an Easter vacation in Hawaii with their three children.
‘Feeling so fortunate to have spent Easter with my family in Hawaii,’ she captioned the photos, before adding, ‘Love, joy, and sunshine’.
In the family portrait, a beaming Jen poses with her arms around sons Vince and Robert, while Ryne hugs daughter Vera.
The image shocked RHOC fans, with one commenting, ‘Wow… you’re still married? That’s awesome… congratulations.’
Another gushed, ‘I’m glad you stayed together.’
The troubled couple, who tied the knot in 2013, first split after filming season 16 of the Real Housewives of Orange County in late 2021, before briefly reuniting.
However, in May 2022, Jen officially filed for legal separation and requested legal and physical custody of their three children.
‘Ryne and I are taking some time apart to focus on ourselves and our children,’ she told Us Weekly in a statement at the time.
‘While we are very sad, we are hoping that we will heal and be even stronger as a family. We ask for patience as we navigate this new chapter in our lives.’
She then upgraded the legal separation filing to divorce.
While the couple’s crumbling marriage was a main storyline on RHOC, Jen has previously said that she doesn’t blame the show for their split.
‘I don’t feel like the show caused anything, it magnifies what’s already going on. It just puts you in a more intense situation. So no, I wouldn’t blame the show for that,’ she told Us Weekly.
‘I think there’s a lot of past stuff that we need to not be so resentful toward one another for,’ she continued.
‘And forgive each other and become friends and just start there because we have children together and that is the most important thing.’
Now that the pair are officially back together, Jen is ready to make her return to reality television.
The cosmetic physician is featured in an upcoming episode of Netflix’s Selling the OC, where she’s seen at an open house with new agent Alexandra Harper.
In a scene from the season three trailer, Jen is seen asking Alexandra if the lavish waterfront property she’s inspecting has a homeowners association.
‘No clue!’ responds Alexandra, who appears to know very little about the home she’s showing.
