Season 32 of Dancing with the Stars has been on point with its theme nights. The show recently celebrated Motown and had a Whitney Houston tribute. And coming up, DWTS will pay homage to Taylor Swift.
Swifties are excited, as are the competitors. And the cast is giving fans a hint of what they can expect during Taylor Swift Week. Is Travis Kelce involved? Maybe! Page Six has the DWTS details.
There’s no bad blood in the ballroom
Mandy Moore, who choreographed Taylor’s Eras Tour, will be a guest judge. As for rumors that Too Hot to Handle star Harry Jowsey and his partner, Rylee Arnold, would be dressing up as Taylor and her new boo, Travis? “I hope so! I’m willing and able to shave the beard and get a mustache … we’re ready!” Harry said.
“He would willingly do that. So I think it needs to happen!” Rylee added. Of course, Harry shouldn’t be on the show because of his problematic history, but I digress.
Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov are dancing to her favorite song by Taylor, Cruel Summer. “I’m really into Taylor running up and kissing Travis Kelce. I think it’s the cutest thing ever,” Ariana said of the couple’s PDA in Argentina.
DWTS pro Artem Chigvintsev teased a surprise in his dance with The Bachelorette star Charity Lawson. “We’re just going to be doing a dance that not necessarily people would expect to be done to a Taylor song. I think it’s going to be a little bit surprising … a good twist,” he said.
Fan favorite Alyson Hannigan wants to give the audience friendship bracelets. “I don’t have time to personally make them, but I did just order a bunch, so I will be giving those out,” Alyson said.
She continued, “I need to order a lot more. I have to find out how many people are in the audience and will I be allowed to give them all [out]. So I’m going to maybe, like, chuck them to all the Swifties.”
A message from Taylor
Hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough played a surprise video from Taylor during this week’s show. “I wish I could be there with you guys but I’m on tour in Brazil, but I will be there in spirit — and I’ll be watching,” the Grammy-winner said.
No pressure at all! I can’t wait to see the couples get down to T. Swift next week.
