Even though Taylor Armstrong left the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills over ten years ago, she and Kyle Richards will “always be close.”
Taylor and Kyle were both original cast members of RHOBH, alongside Lisa Vanderpump, Camille Grammer, Adrienne Maloof, and Kim Richards. Taylor, who now lives in Orange County with her second husband, John Bluher, rarely sees the girls but will always have a special place in her heart for all of them. They supported her through a horrific time following the suicide of her first husband, Russell Armstrong.
“Kyle and I will always be close,” she says. “We lived just three streets apart from each other … Portia [Kyle’s daughter] and Kennedy [Taylor’s daughter] were [close] … Portia was turning two, and Kennedy was turning four. We spent a ton of time at their house. The girls would have sleepovers all the time, so she and I definitely have a huge bond.”
Still on good terms
Orange County is a world away from Beverly Hills, so the OGs aren’t likely to run into each other. But Taylor claims to still be friendly with everyone.
“I’m on good terms with all of them,” she shares with The Daily Dish. “Every one of us will DM different things, you know? Everyone’s lives are busy, and we all have kids. So, as much as it seems like we would see each other all the time, [we can’t].”
“The other thing is [that] there is a geographical challenge,” the domestic violence advocate adds. “People [who] don’t live here, I think they’re more under the impression that we just pop up to Beverly Hills for lunch. [But] the 405 is a whole ‘nother ballgame. It’s not as simple as it seems just to go hang out for, you know, a couple hours and come back.”
“We don’t spend as much time together, but I feel like if we all got back together again, it would just be like old times immediately,” the mom of one continues. “There’s just a bond … with that group, for me, that will last a lifetime.”
