David Eason has been going through a rough patch. He was involved in a CPS case, but at least his wife supported him then. But that all changed after their divorce. Now, the Teen Mom star and Jenelle are in a cutthroat court battle.

While that is happening, David is living on his and Jenelle’s boat. The fans also assumed that he had a very tense financial situation as the MTV star never had a stable source of income. It turns out the fans might be right. David just confessed that he doesn’t have money for an attorney!

Teen Mom: David Eason Can’t Pay For An Attorney

David Eason and Jenelle have anongoing legal divorce battle. The two have been in and out of court for some time now. David and Jenelle’s last court visit was relatively short, as David arrived without an attorney. He had been late to the protective/restraining order hearing. The Judge was already angry with David’s tardiness. However, the Teen Mom star further angered him by saying he had no attorney.

Eason had asked for a three-week continuance to look for an attorney, which the judge thankfully granted him. All this occurred on February 6. But it turns out that even three weeks wasn’t enough for David. He arrived at the hearing again. While he was on time for this hearing, he came sans an attorney. David then revealed why his attorney wasn’t there.

The star arrived on time, but he didn’t bring his lawyer. When the Judge asked him why he didn’t have an attorney, David said he couldn’t “afford” one. Luckily, the Judge still decided to give the star another chance. Jenelle’s attorney fought the Judge, saying he wanted to have the hearing this Thursday only. But the Judge was against it.

David might have presented a really desperate picture as the Judge decided to give the Teen Mom star another continuance. But this will be his last chance. A source revealed that the Judge won’t be giving either of the stars any “more continuances after this.” They also said “the next hearing” would take place “regardless if David found an attorney or not.” It will be on May 16.

Even when David and Jenelle lived together, the latter was the only earning member. David had no stable income history. But the pair still spent money “recklessly.” David partied on Jenelle’s money. Even now, a source revealed that he spends time drinking at a bar near the marina.

Now that David is fighting Jenelle in court, he wants to hire an attorney. But an attorney costs money, and the Teen Mom star doesn’t have any. So he has decided to ask his fans for some. He often asks fans for money on social media to hire “an attorney.”

David claims he does make money from odd jobs. But he doesn’t have enough to “pay an attorney. So he is asking the fans to give him a few ‘pennies’ to hire a lawyer and “beat Jenelle” in court.
