Harry Jowsey and Rylee Arnold’s run on “Dancing With the Stars” may have come to an end Tuesday night, but they’re still planning to stay close outside of the ballroom.
The dance duo – who played coy on showmance rumors fueled by fans all season – were eliminated at the end of the show’s Taylor Swift-themed episode following nine weeks in the competition.
When asked what they’ll miss most, the “Too Hot to Handle” alum and his pro partner both said it would be the “dedicated” time spent in rehearsals with each other.
“This is my first time ever doing this, being a pro, and I learned a lot about myself and how this whole process is,” Arnold, 18, exclusively told Page Six in the ballroom.
“Ultimately, I think I’m going to take away this relationship that I have with Harry. How special it was and how great it was to be paired with him and to have done this with him.”
Jowsey, 26, echoed those sentiments, telling Page Six he looked forward to going into rehearsals each day.
“I’ll miss that, because I [knew] every day I woke up I’d see Rylee,” he said, joking that Arnold is going “to have a problem” getting rid of him. “And being able to spend so much time with her and learn something … it’s been really incredible.”
For their final dances on “Taylor Swift Night,” Jowsey and Arnold performed a rumba to “August” followed by a jive to “Shake It Off (Taylor’s Version)” during the relay challenge. Judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, Bruno Tonioli and guest Mandy Moore praised the Australian native for stepping it up this week
“I’m just so grateful for such a crazy, wild experience, and with such an incredible, young woman. To learn so much about her but also about myself,” he explained. “But then also, it does suck, we were so close to the Semis. I could taste it all day.”
Arnold chimed in, noting that there were “happy tears as well” Tuesday night as they reflected on making it this far in the competition during her first season.
“This has been an experience I never would have imagined,” the pro dancer, who is the younger sister of former mirrorball champion Lindsay Arnold, raved. “It’s seriously been so special to be a part of.”
While fans won’t see Jowsey and Arnold during next week’s Semi-Finals, they’ll reunite with the entire Season 32 cast for the finale on Dec. 5. Plus, it sounds like the reality star’s dancing days may be far from over.
“Rylee’s obviously got the [’DWTS’] tour coming up. I may be going on the tour as well,” he teased, “but I don’t know if it’s been confirmed.”
“Dancing With the Stars” airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and Disney+, with new episodes streaming on Hulu the following day.
