Patrick Mahomes may breathe football, but his first love remains to be basketball. Having no significant professional commitment in hand, the elite quarterback seems to be enjoying his sweet time watching the NBA.
As a die-hard fan of the Dallas Mavericks, the future Hall of Famer is often spotted in Mavs’ games. Just recently, he and his wife, Brittany graced the basketball court during the marquee matchup between Luka Doncic’s Mavs and Nikola Jokic ’s Denver Nuggets, to show their support for Doncic.
And as his favorite achievement the feat of the single-season points record of Mavs, Mahomes picked up his phone and made a case for the superstar guard, Doncic for the the Slovenian‘s MVP title. Although the quarterback couldn’t be present live to witness the historic moment, he showed his support for the Mavs star guard to the world.
“MVP ,” wrote the Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback on X by sharing a post by Mavs celebrating Doncic’s victory.
It happened during the Mavs’ victory over the Charlotte Hornets by 130-104 points. Doncic, along with Kyrie Irving once again dominated the basketball court as being a dynamic duo. After this nominal victory, the Mavs stand strong at a 49-30 season record.

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes’ enthusiastic support for the Women’s soccer team
During the NFL offseason, basketball isn’t the only sport Mahomes supports and enjoys. He and his wife recently made a special appearance for their home women’s soccer team, Kansas City Current, during a match in the National Women’s Soccer League.
The gorgeous couple are also stake owners of the team and often support the team’s performances. After their nominal victory over the Portland Thorns, Patrick and Brittany went viral for their grand celebration.
Upon the victory, Patrick picked up Brittany from behind and made a hurray gesture as she raised her hand in celebration. It truly showed how much the couple was into the game and how joyful it was to see their team win.
