Bethenny Frankel has her methods when it comes to dealing with criticism. Given one of her chosen professions as an influencer, she must’ve known criticism would be inevitable.
Even before her presence on social media, her time on Real Housewives of New York would have opened her eyes to the world of public opinion. Sometimes, the public can be reasonable. Other times, they can be all too cruel.
As such, it’s good that Bethenny has strategies to deal with her critics. Sometimes, those strategies manifest in the form of a public clapback. That was very much the case with one mean commenter on Sunday, April 7.
Bethenny sends “thoughts and prayers” to her troll

Over the weekend, Bethenny shared a mirror selfie with fans, captioning the picture “Retail therapy.” She wore light blue jeans, a dark denim jacket with a shearling collar, a printed sweater, and sunglasses. However, the outfit didn’t sit right with one fan. They sent a DM asking, “Wtf is that outfit about,” adding, “Come on B.”
Page Six cataloged a screenshot that was posted to Bethenny’s story, showing a reply written out and ready to send. “It’s about me putting on what I feel like on a Sunday. I hope you survive this… thoughts and prayers.” This wouldn’t be the first time the influencer had no problem with responding to her critics.
Sometimes, however, Bethenny could be better off by just taking the criticism and letting things blow over. An outfit is no big deal. People should wear what they want. But reality TV fans might recall the controversy over Bethenny’s makeup giveaway. As one might’ve expected, she didn’t take kindly to that criticism, even though most folks maintained that she was in the wrong.
