Season 21 Bachelor star Nick Viall has a theory about Vanderpump Rules alum Jax Taylor.
Nick doesn’t think Jax is genuine in anything he says or does on either Pump Rules or The Valley. He believes the married dad is “self-producing” for the camera and constantly creating drama for TV. “I don’t think there’s anything that he wouldn’t do,” Nick concluded.
“Every time Jax opens his mouth on this show, he thinks it’s a line,” Nick said. “I think he just gives lines … And I don’t find him to be all that interesting or compelling.”
Anything for attention
During the April 21 episode of his Viall Files podcast, Nick concluded, “All [Jax] cares about is being on TV and having attention.”
This behavior goes back to the early days of VPR when Jax was dating Stassi Schroeder. Following Jax and Stassi’s breakup, the rest of the group went to Vegas to celebrate her birthday. Jealous because Stassi was there with rebound boyfriend Frank Herlihy, Jax showed up unexpectedly and challenged Frank to a fight in the parking lot. Who can forget the sight of Jax ripping off his thick, white cable knit sweater to duke it out with Frank? So dramatic!
Most recently, Jax reserved a penthouse suite in a fancy hotel as a surprise for his wife Brittany Cartwright. On the April 30 episode of The Valley, Jax and Britt were hoping to address the drought in their sex life since the arrival of their son Cruz. They imagined having some sexy time in the fancy suite, but instead, they got into an argument over dinner. When his wife broke down in tears, Jax got annoyed and ended up storming out, dramatically slamming the door behind him. He left his wife alone and crying in their fancy hotel suite. Nice.
You can’t count on Jax to keep a secret–he loves to spill the tea–but you can always count on him to bring the drama. Jax is always ready for his close-up.
