During the Season 13 Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion, Teresa Giudice finally ended her relationship with her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa Gorga. After years of simmering tension, it seemed to be a relief for both sides. However, with the ladies refusing to interact on camera, fans were concerned about how Season 14 of RHONJ would turn out.
Well, according to the Season 14 trailer, there is plenty of drama ahead. What is most surprising is the shifting friendships and alliances. Melissa claimed that the crew’s friendships go “upside down and sideways” in Season 14. Jackie Goldschneider, who was always Team Melissa, decided to ditch Melissa and Margaret Josephs to be Teresa’s new bestie. This is a strange development since Teresa and Jackie always butted heads.
And there was also trouble between Danielle Cabral and Jennifer Aydin, who were firmly on Teresa’s side. Even Rachel Fuda felt like her friendship with Jennifer Fessler was strained. It certainly seems like the ladies had to pick between Teresa and Melissa.
Can this divided cast deliver a great season of RHONJ?

Melissa posted a cast photo on Instagram. She captioned it, “A House Divided. #RHONJ MAY 5th. #becarefulwhatyouwishfor.” Well, that certainly hints at cast discord. And some of Melissa’s co-stars sounded off in the comments. “So excited,” Rachel wrote.
Margaret posted, “Yes it is,” along with clapping hands, fire, heart, and lipstick/kiss emojis. I guess we can infer who is not on Team Melissa by who responded.
I’m all for moving away from the family drama and getting into some petty friendship feuds. I’m just not sure how it will work if Teresa and Melissa never speak. It must make scenes awkward at best if they are both present. But no matter what happens, I’m here for all the Jersey drama.
