Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Crystal Kung Minkoff shocked fans when she announced that she was exiting the show after three seasons. Crystal may have been relatively quiet during her first couple of seasons, but she found her voice during Season 13. She and newbie Annemarie Wiley feuded throughout the season. Now Andy Cohen is reacting to her departure.
While she may have been reserved, she still made her mark. Crystal, who was the first Asian American cast member on RHOBH, was open about her recovery process from an eating disorder. She also brought a fun vibe and shared some vulnerable moments with viewers.
Andy Cohen reacts to Crystal’s RHOBH departure
Andy and his co-host, John Hill, discussed recent breaking Bravo news on their radio show, SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. “Huge week for Bravo News. Very happy for Candiace’s [Dillard Bassett’s] pregnancy news. She’s 13 weeks she announced this week. When we talked about her leaving the show, she confided that she was pregnant, and I was so excited, and I just think it’s great,” Andy said. “I’m very happy for them. This is wonderful,” he added.
John delved into the news that Rebecca Minkoff was joining the cast of The Real Housewives of New York. “Can you confirm or deny or is she just a friend of right now? She’s been filming. What’s the deal?” John asked. “I can’t say anything,” Andy replied.
Then he brought up Crystal’s announcement. “Oh, can I just say one more thing about Housewives news? I thought Crystal’s announcement that she wasn’t coming back, it was so, first of all, I mean, she looked like best ever, but second of all, it was just so eloquent and classy, I thought,” Andy stated. “I just, I was like, ‘Wow, that’s the way to do it.’ I just thought it was great.”
John added, “I love Crystal.” I do, too. I am crossing my fingers that maybe she will pop in now and again like Camille Grammer.
