During an appearance on an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that aired on Tuesday, April 30, the reality stars confirmed that it won’t be long before fans can visit their long-discussed business, Something About Her.
“Everyone’s been asking! They want sandwich shop updates, so we finally have the update,” Maloney explained of their Los Angeles bistro.
“We have a date,” duo both confirmed while smiling, before host Andy Cohen, 55, teed them up for the news. “Something About Her will be opening on…” he said, Madix and Maloney responding in unison, “May 22!”

On Vanderpump Rules, Madix, 38, and Maloney, 37, have been giving fans updates on Something About Her’s status, as the eatery’s opening remained delayed due to permitting issues despite first announcing their plans to open the shop in 2022.
Earlier this year, the duo gave a tour of the location for Bravo’s official YouTube page. “California country meet European café,” Maloney said while describing the aesthetic of the place.
Their update on Tuesday’s WWHL comes after Maloney confirmed in an interview with E! News last month that they were “dangerously close” to opening the shop.
“I know it’s been a really long time coming and that’s felt by everyone that asks me that question,” she told the outlet. “But, I mean, if we could’ve opened six months ago plus, we absolutely would’ve. But it’s been completely out of our hands.”
“We’re hiring right now and will be training very soon and it’s right around the corner. I don’t want to share a date but very, very soon,” Maloney continued, adding that they’re “so excited.”
While speaking to PEOPLE in May 2023, Madix discussed some of the inspirations behind the sandwiches’ names, without giving too much away.
“I think in the same sense that the name of the sandwich shop is Something About Her, I think that the sandwiches may or may not be named after really admirable and wonderful women both in the public eye and our personal lives,” she said.
Madix told PEOPLE at the time that they were hoping for a summer 2023 opening date.
