Brielle Biermann has unfollowed her adoptive father Kroy Biermann after he filed for divorce from her mother and The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak. Kim and Kroy have been married for 11 years and have four biological children together, all ranging in age from 9 and 11. Along with the divorce, the couple is now embarking on a heated custody battle as both would like sole custody of the children.
Page Six reports that Brielle has unfollowed her adoptive father Kroy on Instagram, but he is still following her on the app. Brielle has unfollowed Kroy in the wake of the divorce news, but it’s interesting that Kroy hasn’t done the same. It does appear that he is shading RHOA star Kim Zolciak with his new Instagram bio, which reads, “My ring meant a thing.” It is reported that there was no infidelity that caused the divorce, so Kroy’s new bio is a bit confusing, especially considering he is the one that filed for divorce in the first place.
RHOA Star Kim Zolciak & Kroy Biermann Owe Unpaid Taxes
It was recently announced that Kim was divorcing her husband of 11 years. Immediately after the divorce was announced, it was revealed that the Kim and Kroy owes more than $1 million in unpaid taxes. This led to speculation that the couple may be getting a divorce to distract from their money woes and hopefully get the government off of their tail. However, it is also possible that the couple’s relationship was strained due to the money woes and not that the divorce is a front in any way. Kim and Kroy have been very open with their relationship, so there’s been an expectation for them to be the same way with their divorce.
Kroy and Kim’s divorce process may be confusing to some, considering how quickly it has turned nasty when it comes to the children. The couple is still living together in their Georgia mansion, adding more confusion. Considering how surprising the divorce was, it is possible that neither Kroy nor Kim have found a new place to live that can also house the children. It also doesn’t help that neither of them know who will have custody of the children, so it seems they might have agreed that it makes more sense to stay together in their current home for now.
Brielle unfollowing her adoptive father on Instagram is a very interesting choice because of how long he has been in her life. At the end of the day, that decision is her own and people do not know what is going on behind the scenes of this divorce. Hopefully, the family does not split up completely in the midst of the challenging divorce. One can only hope for the best for this family and maybe wish it was still airing on RHOA.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
