Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams appeared to speak with a tinge of regret about his decision to move to Sin City two seasons ago.

Adams recently appeared on “The Rush With Maxx Crosby” podcast. Crosby’s first question to Adams was about the emergence of Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love, who was Adams’ teammate from 2020 to 2021.

Interestingly enough, Adams spoke more about his decision to leave Green Bay — and Love — rather than Love himself (1:20 mark).

“I’m like the poster child for, ‘You make a decision and you live with it.’ I’ll never regret anything. I don’t care if I came [to Las Vegas] and my career went to s–t. You’ve got to make decisions and roll with them.

“I don’t regret what I did, but at the same time you look back on it and you’re like, ‘Dang, [Jordan Love] kind of balling right now.’”

Adams admitted that he had seen the potential in Love while in Green Bay. However, Adams had to make a decision based on what he believed to be best for him at the time.

The Packers traded Adams to the Raiders in 2022. But it was widely reported that Adams chose to be sent to the Raiders to play with his former college teammate Derek Carr, who was then the team’s starting QB.

The Packers had used the franchise tag on Adams after the 2021 season, but the two sides could not come to terms on an extension. Adams even reportedly turned down more money from the Packers compared to the extension he signed with the Raiders.

Adams has had a tumultuous two-year tenure in Las Vegas so far. The 3-time All-Pro recently sent a clear message about his future with the Raiders.
