“Real Housewives of Potomac” star Dr. Wendy Osefo came home from vacation to find her house burglarized.
Osefo and her family had been enjoying a getaway to Jamaica last week when burglars broke into her house and stole a variety of treasured items.
A spokesman for the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office confirms to Page Six that the incident at the Osefo house was reported on Sunday, and the investigation is ongoing. He could not provide any additional details.
“My family and I are devastated and feel violated by this intrusion,” Osefo told TMZ.
“We thank God no one was home … so for that we feel very blessed. Material things can always be replaced.”
Page Six has reached out to Osefo for comment.
Sources told the outlet that the burglars made off with many of her designer bags, including a few of her Hermès Birkins. They also stole a large amount of her jewelry.
The Bravolebrity, 39, traveled with her husband, Eddie, and their three children to the Azul Beach Resort Negril for the kids’ spring break and had been documenting their trip on Instagram.
Wendy shared numerous photos of her family enjoying beach activities, delicious meals and more while staying on the island.
“Spring Break ‘24,” she captioned an Instagram carousel.
The “Tears of My Mother” author is hardly the first “Housewife” to be burgled. A few years ago, Dorit Kemsely and her husband, PK, were the victims of a home invasion during which she was threatened at gunpoint.
PK since has called some of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star’s PTSD “obnoxious.”
“There are elements I understand. There are also elements that I don’t consider are PTSD –– I don’t,” he said on a recent episode of the Bravo reality show.
“I consider they’re more obnoxious.”
