The Real Housewives of New York City came back in two versions to wow longtime fans. Season 14 was the reboot of the entire franchise with a fresh and more diverse cast. Then viewers were gifted Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy, which brought back Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan, Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Kristen Taekman and Kelly Bensimon on a trip to St. Barths.
But one of the newbie RHONY stars, Erin Lichy, called the Legacy trip “cute.” Then Dorinda clapped back in her Instagram Story. “You can always call me cute. Just don’t call me dull,” she said with a wink. Kristen also fired back in an Instagram video. “Cute? Cute’s not the first word that comes to mind when describing RHONY Legacy,” Kristen stated. “When you’re in your 40s, 50s, and 60s, you use words like hot, sexy, stunning.”
Erin denied being shady. She posted under Kristen’s video, “Meant no disrespect. I love legacy and the OGs. I use the word cute all the time,” Erin wrote. Well, Dorinda might want to test that notion.
Will the RHONY newbies accept the OG cast’s invite?
Dorinda was a guest on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, and she was on a roll. Dorinda wanted to “make it nice” for the newbies at Bluestone Manor, along with some of her RHONY OG pals. “We should send those new girls up there for a night and see how they fare,” Dorinda stated. She added that “a couple of us” would join in on the festivities. “We wouldn’t want to overwhelm anybody,” Dorinda said.
After all, Bluestone Manor has been the setting for iconic trips on both RHONY and Season 2 of RHUGT. But if that doesn’t happen, Dorinda has some other ideas for Bravo. “There’s two Ultimate Girls Trips I would love to do,” she stated. “I think we should do one on a Below Deck boat. Legacy on the water I think would be so hysterical with the Below Deck cast.”
Dorinda continued, “And I think we should bring the Legacy back up to Bluestone Manor because — can I tell you the truth? I don’t think they ever did enough up there.” She added, “Bluestone Manor is its happiest when it has a ton of people.”
