Golden Stаte Wаrrіorѕ’ Hіѕtorіс Shootіng Nіght Proveѕ Steрhen Curry, Dubѕ Are Stіll Dаngerouѕ

Even though the Golden State Warriors don’t look as dominant as before, they’re still one team to look out for in the playoffs. Stephen Curry’s recent game against the LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers is proof the Dubs can still be dangerous to face on the court.

Golden State Warriors’ Historic Shooting Night Proves Stephen Curry, Dubs Are Still Dangerous

In that particular game, the Warriors went home with the 134-120 win over Los Angeles. Klay Thompson exploded for 27 points on 50 percent shooting from beyond the arc in 32 minutes on the court. Curry was spectacular from long range as well when he dropped 23 points on a perfect 6-for-6 from the three-point line, while making seven rebounds and eight assists. Draymond Green added a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds to seal the win for the Dubs.

The Lakers, on the other hand, saw LeBron James tally 33 points, seven rebounds, and 11 assists to lead his team against the Dubs. Austin Reaves contributed 22 points, while Rui Hachimura made 20 points and 11 board for Los Angeles.

Both teams are now assured of a spot in the Play-In Tournament. GSW is still in 10th place with 44 wins and 35 losses, while the Purple and Gold are in ninth place with a 45-35 record.

Stephen Curry and The Golden State Warriors Are Still Dangerous Based On Their Recent Win Against Los Angeles Lakers

Although Curry and company are not like what they were before, they’re still a dangerous bunch to play against. According to a pair of tweets by Kendra Andrews:

“Per @ESPNStatsInfo, @StatsWilliams the Warriors’ 63.4% 3-point shooting is the best 3-point field goal percentage in a game in NBA history with a minimum of 40 3-pointers attempted (which has happened 3,400 times),” Andrews tweeted.

As it stands, the Dubs are fifth in the league when it comes to offense, owing largely to Curry’s brilliance on the court. Their defense, on the other hand, is 21st out of 30 teams, which can be the reason why they have been struggling all season long.

With the regular season about to end, fans will be looking forward to whether GSW can grab a playoff spot or not. What’s certain, though, is that any team facing the Warriors will have their work cut out for them. And if given the chance to make the postseason, fans can expect fireworks from Curry, Thompson, Green, and Chris Paul when they go up against their opponents in the coming weeks.
