OAK ISLAND, NOVA SCOTIA: ‘Teen Mom’ star Jenelle Evans recently pulled out her kids from public school to homeschool them citing safety concerns. The MTV show alum sparked backlash on social media for homeschooling her kids and claimed that her house was also not safe considering the past drama.

Jenelle recently shared a video on her Instagram and shared an update as a single mom after she filed for divorce from her husband David Eason. The reality star shared in the video, “‘Live update, basically I pulled my kids from school for the rest of the school year and I’m going to be homeschooling them.”
The MTV show star explained, “‘Why? Cause I found out their school is not safe.'” She also noted that she ‘wouldn’t go into detail about that’ before adding, “I want to keep them safe, I want to keep them at home, I want to keep my eye on them.” She continued in the video, “I think that’s what’s best for them right now.”
Jenelle added, “Life has been too stressful for them so I think they needed a break so we’re going to do homeschooling.” She made it clear that she would homeschool her kids until summer break. The reality star then added an adorable video of Kaiser and Ensley’s visit to the Children’s Museum, which she noted was a part of their new homeschooling curriculum.
However, the social media users criticized Jenelle for homeschooling her kids and commented, “Bad idea, you’re very easily distracted and you don’t have the patience it takes to truly educate and prepare your children.” Another person added, “Is their home safe?” Another follower said, “So they’ll be dumbasses to?”
Another internet user said, “Really? The schools aren’t safe?! Things that make you go hhmmm ????.” Another Instagram, user penned, “Those are field trips not schooling, there gonna fall behind.” Another critic noted, “By unsafe, you mean creating independent thinkers who accept all people for who they are. Oh yeah, they will be SO much safer with you.”

‘Teen Mom’ star Jenelle Evans’ son Jace Vahn, claimed that his stepfather, David Eason, had assaulted him after he ran away from home. Child Protective Services charged Jenelle and her husband David of abuse and Jace was removed from her home after David allegedly attacked the teen in September 2023.
However, the reality star took to her social media and revealed that CPS has dropped the charges and opted to file a ‘voluntary dismissal’. The reality star shared in the video, “All allegations against me and my husband have been officially dropped.”
The MTV show star further revealed that she would hold off on sharing case details for now, highlighting her priority on Jace’s mental health. She said. “I’d appreciate if everyone respects my son’s privacy so he can get his mental health in check,’ she said before adding that ‘someone is already leaking information.”
