Former Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans is now homeschooling her children amid a traumatic year. She has homeschooled in the past but this time, she has a new reason for going this route. So, what has led to this decision? Keep reading for more details.
Jenelle Evans Homeschooling Kids Amid Traumatic Year
This has been a hard year for Jenelle Evans. It should have been a celebratory time as she regained custody of her teenage son, Jace in early 2023. This was a long time coming but by August 2023, he started to run away, and by the following month, he had done so three times. Jace alleged that his stepfather, David Eason had assaulted him and was eventually placed with his grandma, Barbara Evans. Then, he ran away once again so he was removed from Barbara’s. All the while, there was a CPS investigation for Jenelle and David plus the latter was charged with child abuse.
Jace returned to Jenelle’s and, in February 2024, she and David had separated. Her home was then broken into so it is safe to say, this has not been easy. Now, Jenelle has made the decision to pull her youngest kids, Kaiser and Ensley from school so she can homeschool them. According to ET, she made this decision for their safety:
“Life update, so basically I have pulled my kids out of school for the rest of the school year, and I’m going to be homeschooling them. Why? Because I found out their school is not safe. Not going to go into detail about that.”
Jenelle shared this in a TikTok video which shocked many fans. She even clapped back at people who said she was unfit to teach.
