John Janssen seemingly shaded his ex Shannon Beador with a cryptic quote about “narcissists” who are “lying” about people they’ve “abused,” and his girlfriend Alexis Bellino reacted by calling out a “smear campaign.”
John is now suing Shannon over an alleged loan of $75,000. After the suit became public, Shannon shared that she offered to pay John, but he refused to sign a non-disparagement agreement. She also suggested that Alexis, who’s returning to Real Housewives of Orange County as a ‘friend of,’ might be behind it.
On his Instagram Stories, John shared a post about “narcissists,” seemingly alluding to his ex Shannon amid their legal dispute.
“Dear narcissists,” read the post by @healing.after.a.narcissist, via @therealhousewiveszone on Instagram. “Lying about the people you’ve abused doesn’t change the truth about who you are.”
“You can go ahead and try to destroy our lives with lies, because we know that we can destroy yours with the truth,” the quote went on. “We see right through your facade.”
“And it’s only a matter of time until others see through it as well,” concluded the post.
John then commented, “Never again!!!”
Alexis ‘liked’ the post and shared a comment of her own.
“Smear campaign is done,” she declared. “#truthwins.”
Last month, Shannon released a statement explaining her side of the legal drama.
“I agreed to pay John what he wanted because I knew that attorneys fees would surpass the amount sought, but more importantly to eliminate the negative emotional components that come with a lawsuit,” she said in the statement to PEOPLE. “John declined the offer because he refused to sign a mutual non-disparagement agreement … I was hoping that if I met his baseless demand we could at least use this as an opportunity to bring complete closure to this chapter in my life.”
