She has been dismissed from her reality television show amid much drama and was also recently called a ‘bona-fide bully’ in an online spat with a Shahs of Sunset star.
But Kelly Dodd looked unfazed and unbothered on Saturday, when she was seen heading out with her husband Rick Leventhal in Newport Beach, California in what amounted to her first public sighting since being cut from The Real Housewives of Orange County.
The television personality, 45, smiled alongside her husband Leventhal, 61, who also this week left his job as a correspondent on Fox News.
Her brown hair hung loose and down from underneath her cap, brushing her shoulders.
Rick also wore a black cap, but backwards.
He donned a heather gray tank top and black pants.
He walked alongside Kelly in matching black sneakers.
The sighting comes mere days after it was announced that Dodd, along with Braunwyn Wyndham-Burke and Elizabeth Lyn Vargas, will not be returning to Bravo’s hit reality show RHOC for season 16.
While Kelly and Braunwyn are not welcome on the cast any longer, Heather Dubrow is set to make a triumphant return to the show after taking four seasons off following her last stint in 2016 for season 11.
Dodd faced intense backlash last year for her controversial COVID-19 opinions and later toasted to being a ‘super-spreader’ while at a bar with friends amid strict lockdown and social distancing measures in California.
And upon news of her dismissal from the show this week, Dodd slammed her now former Real Housewives of Orange County co-star Braunwyn.
A text message sent from Kelly to Braunwyn says: ‘This was your fault. We’d still be on the show if you didn’t make things so dark and ugly and brought all that political “woke” BS.’
Kelly did however try to keep it a little bit lighter on Saturday, sharing a new text image to her Instagram feed that thanked her ‘tens of thousands’ supporters for their ‘well wishes.’
