Kyle Richards appeared on Amazon Live on Tuesday, saying that Crystal Kung-Minkoff‘s exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is “sad.”
While also denying that her own return has been confirmed and dishing on the season 14 cast, Kyle, 55, revealed if she watches old episodes of her and Mauricio Umansky, 53, pre-separation, admitted to having “good” and “bad” days amid their split, and addressed their summer plans.
“It made me sad,” Kyle said of Crystal, 41, leaving RHOBH during her April 16 appearance on Amazon Live. “I have kind of mixed feelings, not because of her, just because I’m like, yes it’s probably disappointing, but also life’s great without reality television. It’s not like, ‘Oh my God, poor Crystal.’ She has a great family and there is a lot to say for not doing that.”
Then, when it was alleged that it seemed like Kyle would be back, she asked, “Does it?”
“I haven’t said anything yet. I know there’s reports online that I’m not coming back, I am coming back. That conversation actually is TBD,” she clarified, noting that she isn’t yet sure who will be back for the new episodes.
“I don’t know. I mean, yesterday, we spoke in a group, all of us, about Crystal. We didn’t talk about everyone else. So, I just honestly haven’t even wanted to talk about that,” she admitted.
When a fan wanted to know if she gets sad watching old episodes of her and Mauricio, Kyle said that although she sometimes sees RHOBH airing, she’s not one to watch a full episode.
“I’ll watch for a few minutes, but I don’t like to sit down and watch old episodes,” she explained. “[But] I guess it’d be interesting to go back and see the original, like, the very beginning because I really don’t remember a lot.”
According to Kyle, she has “good days and bad days” when it comes to her and Mauricio’s split, which is “to be expected.”
Although Kyle and Mauricio’s separation doesn’t appear to be nearing its end, Kyle confirmed to a curious fan that the two of them would likely be together in Aspen this summer.
“I’m sure there will be times that we’ll be there at the same time, for sure,” she stated.
Also on Amazon Live, after revealing her 16-year-old daughter, Portia Umansky, attended Coachella this year, which was “interesting” and “fun,” Kyle spoke of spending time with niece Paris Hilton, 43, and her husband, Carter Reum, 43.
“We had a lot of fun. My friend Kesha stayed at my house with me and then she sang her song on Sunday. So, I was just in the festival a little bit, to be honest, and the rest of the time was home, relaxing, and waiting for Portia to get home,” she explained. “I’m not a late-night person, I’m actually a very early-morning person.”
During her time in Indio, California, where the music festival is held, Kyle said she received a text message from Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, 51, who attended the event with her husband, Luis Ruelas, 48, and got a picture with Taylor Swift, 34.
“Teresa Giudice texted me and said, ‘I’m here at Coachella if you are here,’” she recalled.
