The Southern Charm restaurateur is opening a new concept in Charleston.
Leva Bonaparte is continuing to take over Charleston’s King Street with another incredible venture.
The Southern Charm and Southern Hospitality cast member and her husband, Lamar Bonaparte, currently own Republic Garden & Lounge, Bourbon N’ Bubbles, MESU, and Lamar’s Sporting Club. Soon, the couple will add a new bar to their growing empire when they open Zachary’s Daiquiris.
What is Zachary’s Daiquiris?
According to The Post and Courier, Republic Development & Management Group’s newest venue will be a “chic frozen daiquiri destination” led by Zachary Elliott.
The outlet notes that Elliott, a childhood bone cancer survivor, joined the Republic Development & Management Group in 2022 and pitched opening a new business centered around a collection of 12 frozen cocktails and nonalcoholic options. When Zachary’s Daiquiris opens, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to organizations that support childhood cancer patients.
“We’re really just trying to bring something new to King Street,” Elliott told The Post and Courier.
When will Zachary’s Daiquiris open?
The Post and Courier notes the bar is slated to open in May and will be open from noon to midnight daily. The bio of the bar’s official Instagram page states it is “coming spring 2024.”
Where is Zachary’s Daiquiris?
Zachary’s Daiquiris will be located at 460 King Street in Charleston.
While we don’t know much about the design of the new bar just yet, we can assume it will have some eye-catching lighting.
“Everybody knows that all of our establishments have great lighting,” Leva explains in the video above while giving a tour of Bourbon N’ Bubbles. “A good selfie in the bathroom is important.”

On Season 7, Episode 2 of Southern Charm, Leva opened up about her success in Charleston. “My husband and I are business husband and wife in Charleston. We are restaurateurs. We’re a little well-known,” she explained at the time. “We wanted to bring Miami and New York to Charleston. So we built it, and they came.”
