It turns out Lisa Vanderpump has feelings after all! Especially when it comes to her VPR girls.
During a recent chat with Us Weekly, the Vanderpump Rules maven chatted about Ariana Madix and her Dancing with the Stars journey. LVP said that she had been closely following Season 32 and was emotionally moved by Ariana’s DWTS run. She was so moved that it somehow brought her to tears. Shocking, right?
Not a dry eye in the room
This week was the Dancing with the Stars Season 32 finale. Ariana sashayed her way into the last week, along with her partner Pasha Pashkov. LVP showed up in the audience to support Ariana, and she revealed that she’s been cheering her on from afar all season.
“I never knew she was capable of anything so magnificent,” LVP shared. “I’ve watched every week and it’s brought tears to my eyes. Good luck Ariana.”
Unfortunately. LVP’s tears and well wishes weren’t enough to get Ariana the Mirrorball Trophy. For the grand finale of Season 32, Ariana and Pasha had to perform two dances: a redemption redo of one of their previous routines and then a freestyle.
For their first number, the duo performed a Samba to “Spice Up Your Life” by Spice Girls. You can literally never go wrong with the Spice Girls, and they scored a 29/30. Then, for the next dance, they freestyled to “Run the World (Girls)” by Beyoncé mashed up with “Level Up” by Ciara. They got a perfect score!
Despite the perfect score and the entire Bravo universe rooting for Ariana, she didn’t nab the Mirrorball Trophy. She lost to Xochitl Gomez, which is fine because she also crushed it, but obviously, we would have preferred Ariana. LVP shed a tear for this, after all.
