Mike Tyson is all set to face Jake Paul in a highly anticipated boxing match on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Texas. While their fight will serve as the main event of the evening, the co-main event will feature a blockbuster undisputed super lightweight title rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano.

Serrano lost to Taylor in their first meeting at the Madison Square Garden in April 2022. After her loss, Serrano went on a four-fight win streak, winning the IBF and inaugural The Ring female featherweight titles and defending her WBC, WBO, and IBO championships.

Given that Serrano is signed to Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), it’s no surprise that she was booked for her long-awaited rematch against Taylor on the same card as the former Disney star’s fight against Tyson.

With two of the biggest personalities in women’s boxing featuring in the co-main event of the Paul-Tyson fight card, it’s unsurprising to see ‘Iron Mike’ hyped. The boxing legend recently took to Instagram to share his reaction. He posted a video paying homage to the two women and wrote in the caption:

“We have the biggest female boxing event ever on our card. I have always advocated for female boxers getting more recognition and getting paid bigger purses, so for the Taylor vs Serrano 2 fight to be on our fight card is historic.”

After ‘Iron Mike’ shared the post promoting the Taylor-Serrano rematch, many from the combat sports community flocked to the post’s comments section to express their thoughts.
