If you’ve ever wondered what a 57-year-old former heavyweight boxing champ who hasn’t fought in four years looks like in training, Mike Tyson is here to show you.
Tyson posted a video of himself running at full speed, writing on X “I’m coming for you” to Jake Paul.
The Tyson-Paul bout is just over two months away, though it remains unclear what the rules of the fight are going to be.
Paul has said it will be officially sanctioned by the state of Texas. Bryce Holden, who is promoting the fight, told USA Today’s Josh Peter last week he has not submitted any requests to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations about sanctioning the bout.
Peter noted the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations oversees “oversees combat sports in the state and determines whether a fight will be a pro bout, an exhibition or approved at all.”

The TDLR told Peter an exhibition in Texas requires two-minute rounds and 16-ounce gloves instead of the traditional 10-ounce gloves used in professional boxing matches. The organization did note “each bout is subject to review” and rules aren’t all fixed.
Tyson’s most recent fight was an eight-round exhibition against Roy Jones Jr. on Nov. 28, 2020. The bout ended in a split draw.
Iron Mike’s last professional bout was against Kevin McBride in June 2005. He hasn’t won a fight since knocking out Clifford Etienne in the first round in February 2003.
Paul has a 9-1 record in 10 professional fights. He also defeated Deji Olatunji in an exhibition match in August 2018.
The Paul-Tyson showdown is scheduled to take place on June 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
