More information about Crystal Minkoff’s RHOBH exit emerges as Annemarie Wiley throws major shade at “karma” coming for for her former co-star.
On Monday, Crystal Minkoff announced her exit from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ahead of season 14.
“I just wanted to share the news that I will not be coming back to film season 14 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It’s very bittersweet,” the 41-year-old said in her Instagram video post on Monday, April 15. “Never did I think I would have been asked to do the show in a million years, let alone film it for three seasons. Every single year I was asked back, it was a blessing. It was an honor.”
She noted that “being the first Asian American on Beverly Hills was a lot of weight on my shoulders.”
“I have since just have really understood the magnitude of what that meant for people,” she continued. “I just wanted to thank you guys for being such an incredible support for me, and I hope that I have been for you, sharing my story with my ED [eating disorder], sharing stories about my father and his Alzheimer’s. I’ve heard so many incredible stories from you guys.”
“But this is not goodbye, this is a see you soon,” she added. “I have some other things going on that I will be sharing with you soon that I’ll still be able to connect with you because at the end of the day, that is been my biggest gift of filming. This show is connecting with so many of you with your beautiful stories.”
“So, more to come but I just, I’m so grateful for everyone’s love and support. You guys are an incredible audience with your own unique story to tell and I hope that you guys all one day have your opportunity.”
Now, DailyMail.com shares details on Crystal Minkoff’s exit from RHOBH and why she was not asked back for season 14.
“They don’t want her back because they feel she has done all she can do on the show and she no longer has much to add to the drama, so another contract has not been offered,” said an insider. “They appreciate her contributions to the show, and the parting is not ugly, but it just is time to move on.”
Turns out Crystal is not upset over being fired from RHOBH.
“She wanted to leave the show for a while, she is sick of all the fighting and hashing things out, it became like a never-ending rollercoaster for her. Plus she wants to focus on her family away from the cameras.”
RHOBH newbie Annemarie Wiley was also not asked back for season 14.
Speaking of Annemarie, she threw some shade at Crystal’s exit from Real Housewives.
Shortly after Crystal announced her departure from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Annemarie shared a poignant yet cryptic post on her Instagram Story.
“Idc how good you play victim that karma gone still tear your ass up,” read the quote with laughing-crying face emojis.
Annemarie then got into a heated argument with a parody account on Twitter, who appeared to be Crystal Minkoff.
The parody account tweeted “Worry about your transphobic rapist husband” adding “Don’t dish it if you can’t take it” after Annemarie blocked the account on Twitter.
Not realizing the account was a parody and NOT actually Crystal, Annemarie fired back: “False allegations against athletes are easy. Anyone with actual money knows that.”
She continued: “You worry about YOUR husband, The LYING King, and your brother [cross your fingers and snowflake emoji] for that matter! Oh – AND that video of you blurting out the N-Word getting out. Fake woke RACIST. #BRINGIT #RHOBH.”
Recently, Annemarie called Crystal “a fake, woke, pathological liar with a superiority complex.”
She also accused Crystal of faking storylines throughout season 13 of RHOBH to secure her spot on season 14, which clearly didn’t work.
Production for season 14 of RHOBH reportedly begins in April.
