Patrick Mahomes has a long list of friends from all walks of life. Even YouTubers like KSI and Logan Paul are close to the QB. But one thing many people might not fathom is that Mahomes also has ties with the gaming world.
Though we haven’t seen the 3x Super Bowl-winning QB play any video games in real life, he made sure that fans got to see an interaction between him and Scump, a 30x COD champion who linked up with the QB to play some ball.
The WSOW Champion recently uploaded a video of him and Mahomes playing catch. The video just came out moments ago and is taking over the internet. The caption on X said, “Scump x Mahomes 🤯.” The video showed Patrick Mahomes casually throwing the most accurate passes and making Scump look underwhelming.
“Let’s see who can throw farther,” said the YouTuber, and Mahomes took the challenge. As the distance increased, Seth Abner’s arm strength dwindled. Abner threw a pass that was way too short to reach Mahomes. However, Mahomes on the other hand wasn’t bothered by the distance and had a trick up his sleeve.

The Super Bowl winner flexed with a behind-the-back pass that covered a huge distance! That was honestly impressive the way the football landed right on the money. “Oh, come on!” said Abner, “You’re making me look bad out here.” Everyone laughed at the spectacle, but Mahomes was a complete gentleman and modestly approached the YouTuber.
The 28-year-old remarked, “You have a nice arm there. You get better shot than most people,” and added, “I respect you.”
However, Abner isn’t the only personality out of the NFL that Mahomes played catch with. He also linked up with Steph Curry as well.
It was a sight to see when the champions of their respective sports met each other in Capital One’s The Match. A golf tournament where celebs play against each other saw Pat Mahomes and Steph Curry casually playing catch with each other.

Bleacher Report uploaded a video on X that said, “Steph and Mahomes playing catch 🏈🔥.” The video shows both players throwing the pigskin to each other as they air the ball with a beautiful spiral. Curry tried to make a one-handed catch, fumbled the ball, but recovered it and made the catch regardless.
Perhaps it doesn’t matter what sport one plays; it’s about seeing these athletes meld together to display their commonalities.
