Frank Catania‘s fiancee, Brittany Mattessich, celebrated her bridal shower over the weekend with Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members, including Frank’s ex-wife, Dolores Catania.

Nearly six months after getting engaged, Brittany celebrated her upcoming nuptials with Frank, 58, at Caroline Manzo‘s husband Albert‘s The Brownstone with Dolores, 53, whom she’s been close with throughout her two-year relationship with Frank, as well as Melissa Gorga, 45, and Rachel Fuda, 32.

“Had so much fun showering the beautiful bride-to-be … so excited for these two [Frank Catania and Brittany Mattessich],” Dolores wrote in the caption of a photo of the three of them on April 22.

Melissa also shared a series of images on her Instagram page.

“So excited for [Frank Catania] and [Brittany Mattessich] … Getting married baby!!!” she wrote on April 21 in the caption of a post that included photos with Dolores, Brittany, and Rachel.

One particular addition to Melissa’s post was a video of the ladies posing with Brittany on a rotating pedestal.

Dolores and Frank got married in 1994 and welcomed two children in the years that followed, including daughter Gabby, 28, and son Frank Jr., 25. And while their 1998 split was quite messy, they are great friends today, and they frequently spend time together as a family and with Brittany.

Although Brittany is close with a number of members of the RHONJ cast and is a “lifelong friend” of Rachel’s, Frank told Tamra Judge, 56, and Teddi Mellencamp, 42, on their podcast last year that it was unlikely that she’d ever be a full-time cast member on the show.

“We are definitely reluctant, to say the least,” he admitted, noting that his bride-to-be is “not controversial whatsoever.”
