In an episode of her podcast Rachel Goes Rogue released on Friday, she said she finally saw the reality star ‘for what he really is’ when she was at said mental health facility seeking voluntary treatment following the infamous Scandoval drama.
While she was there, she wrote a ‘game-changing journal entry’ about his ‘manipulation’ and claimed she was ‘under his love spell.’
This comes after the disgraced reality star broke down crying on last week’s episode of Vanderpump Rules after hearing his former mistress say she never loved him after their months-long affair on Bethenny Frankel’s podcast.

After the episode aired, the model recalled what he had told her last year that made her realize that he was trying to ‘manipulate’ and ‘control’ her.
She began by recalling how she had just watched Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and likened herself to Ginny Weasley ‘when Tom Riddle has her under his spell.’
‘He has her do all of these things out of her character, out of her integrity, to please Tom,’ she said, reading from her journal entry from last year. ‘Am I playing the victim role by saying this? Essentially Tom has manipulated me and had me under his love spell.
She added that Sandoval also tried to isolate her from her family by convincing her that her mother was ‘gaslighting’ and ‘manipulating’ her.
Reading from her penned thoughts, she said that he did not believe ‘such a thing called love addiction’ and called her ‘selfish’ for wanting to continue her therapy treatment.
‘My mom has ulterior motives, he says. He tries to talk me out of treatment. “They’re going to brainwash you. There isn’t such a thing called love addiction. This place is a last-ditch effort. Extending is a bad idea. You are becoming dependent on this place.” He calls me selfish for staying,’ she read.
‘I shared with him that I was having really dark thoughts, and I told him I was extending two more weeks. And he said that that was a bad idea,’ she continued before adding that he did not want to be ‘alone.’
‘And I said, “I’m scared if I come out, what might happen if I’m having these dark thoughts.” He said, “That’s still a bad idea. I’ve been having to rough it out here alone.”‘
After their secret months-long affair was uncovered by Sandoval’s longtime girlfriend and now-ex Ariana Madix, Leviss recalled going to an Arizona mental health facility and wanting to extend her stay despite his protests; seen in November 2022
Leviss read from her ‘game-changing’ journal entry and said if she had not stayed in the facility, she ‘would have remained under Tom’s spell’
Leviss concluded reading from her entry and said if she had not stayed in the facility, she ‘would have remained under Tom’s spell.’
‘I feel like I’m very thankful that I’ve had this experience to go in and get mental health care and intense trauma therapy because, without it, I would have remained under Tom’s spell,’ she said.
‘This is towards the end of my journal,’ she continued, noting that it was writing that journal entry when she had the realization that he was ‘playing the victim role.’
‘So it took me all of this time to get to this point where I was like, “Oh my god. He is always playing the victim role. He is switching the script on me to manipulate me and to control me.”
She noted: ‘This was, like, the game-changing journal entry. It’s, like, pages long of undeniable conversations.’
