The Southern Charm-er said this detail about his Isle of Palms beachside pad left his neighbors “baffled.”
When Shep Rose gave BravoTV.com a tour of his Isle of Palms home in the video above, we spotted several stunning details, such as his beautiful open-concept kitchen and a spacious serene bedroom.
More recently, Shep shared some exciting news about his home, taking to his Instagram Stories on April 25 to reveal the detail he just found out that “baffled” his neighbors.
“Don’t want to make a big deal of it, but my home was VERY energy efficient last month,” the Southern Charm-er wrote over the snap, which showed a message from his electric company that noted how “great” his energy use was compared to his neighbors.
“Neighbors are baffled,” Shep joked, proudly speaking about his electricity use.
Shep Rose shows inside his updated bedroom
The energy efficiency news comes after Shep just showed off some updated details on his primary bedroom.
On April 22, Shep revealed he purchased a new bed from Leesa, switching to a “very comfortable,” memory foam mattress. As Shep showed off that new bed, we spotted more new details in his room compared to the video tour above, including charcoal gray paint on the walls which was a darker color than the light gray paint he had before.
We also spotted luxurious white curtains added to his windows and a beige-and-cream woven area rug he put down under the bed in lieu of the old boho-style maroon rug from before.
Shep’s room also featured wood and black-painted nightstands on each side of the bed, a dark gray bed frame, and a light brown wood dresser, upon which sat multiple books.
Shep Rose says he may buy a home out West
Though Shep seems happily settled at his beachside bachelor pad, he recently revealed to BravoTV.com that he may be also “looking at houses at West.”
“In Montana, Wyoming. Colorado. I did a tour of out West,” Shep shared. “I ended up having a hell of a lot of fun… seeing some real estate, meeting some cool people. But the interest rates, the mortgage rates, it’s just. Crazy. It’s not the right time. Not now. But I do love out West. I do love Montana, and fishing and hunting and stuff.”
