Vanderpump Rules alum Stassi Schroeder surprised many fans when she didn’t join the spinoff, The Valley. In 2020, Stassi was fired from VPR for racist behavior along with co-star Kristen Doute. But Kristin hopped over to The Valley, while Stassi declined.
She didn’t feel like that would be an authentic move for her. “It’s not my group of friends,” Stassi explained. And the married mom of two has some regrets about her behavior on Pump Rules. This former Witch of WeHo has changed, allegedly. And one thing that she loves today? Songstress Taylor Swift’s new album.
Stassi relates to Taylor’s lyrics
And now Stassi is vibing with Taylor’s new offering, The Tortured Poets Department. On the most recent episode of her podcast, Stassi, she shared which song she loves the most.
“Let’s talk about my true favorite song that I am going to make my whole personality I’ve decided. And that’s Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me? I’ve listened to it, like, 78 times already,” Stassi stated. “I want it to be my anthem.”
But while the lyrics might not exactly reflect her life right now, they do connect with Stassi’s past. The song contains the lyrics You wouldn’t last an hour in the asylum where they raised me. “I don’t feel like I’m in a position where the lyrics fully make sense where I’m at right now,” she said.
It reminds Stassi of her time on Bravo

“The more I read the lyrics I’m just like, ‘OK, so they caged her and they trained her and then called her crazy once she turned into the thing that they trained her to be. I’m like, ‘Oh OK, it’s giving Bravo,’” Stassi said.
She continued, “When you’re on a reality show on Bravo, you’re trained a little bit. I’m making this song work for me. I’m tailoring it to my life right now,” she added.
Then the author explained why she felt it was giving Bravo energy. “You’re caged and they train you to keep doing things that are bad or saying things that are bad. You’re rewarded when you do sh*tty things,” Stassi said. She continued, “You’re rewarded with screen time. You’re rewarded with more attention. That’s the way that it works.”
Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules continues on Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. You can catch The Valley on Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
