Jenelle Evans took Taylor Swift’s “Picture to Burn” literally when she roasted mementos from her marriage in a bonfire.
The Teen Mom 2 alum, who is in the midst of a messy separation from estranged husband David Eason, took to social media on Sunday, April 28, to share a video of herself lip-syncing to Swift’s song while taking down the wooden “Mr. and Mrs. Eason” sign from her North Carolina home to burn in the fire. She also lit a photo of her and Eason on fire.
“Bad energy be gone! 👏🏻,” she captioned the video.
The mom of three — Evans shares 14-year-old son Jace with ex Andrew Lewis, 9-year-old son Kaiser with ex Nathan Griffith, and 7-year-old daughter Ensley with Eason — appeared to get the idea from a TikTok user who commented on one of the MTV alum’s previous videos.

“The conspiracy theorists are going to lose it over the sign behind you,” the person wrote, to which Evans responded, “Thanks for the reminder. I will take it down RIGHT NOW.” She included a screenshot of the exchange on the clip.
Evans shared additional footage of the burning on her Instagram Story, posting a Boomerang of the wooden sign on fire. “Getting rid of #trash,” she captioned the clip.
This is not the first time Evans has thrown items in a fire to make a point. As fans will remember, she lit former Teen Mom 2 castmate Kailyn Lowry’s Pothead Hair Care products on fire in 2018, calling Lowry a “fake a** b****” for sending her the gift.
Evans and Eason have been taking jabs at each other via social media nearly every day since splitting in February after six years of marriage.
According to The Sun, Evans claimed in her separation filing that Eason “exhibited concerning and at times disturbing behavior towards [her]” throughout their marriage. She further claimed that her partner “committed marital misconduct in that he excessively uses alcohol and has not maintained consistent full-time employment for a number of years, has recklessly spent the party’s money which plaintiff solely earns, and in other ways to be shown at trial.”
In March, Evans filed a domestic violence protective order against Eason (who also has a no-contact order with Jace after being charged with abuse toward the teen), per The Sun. In the filing, according to the outlet, Evans claimed that Eason allegedly ran over a puppy on their North Carolina property.
