TEEN Mom Jenelle Evans said she “didn’t even look” at her estranged husband David Eason during their court hearing over her request for a restraining order.
The U.S. Sun obtained exclusive video of Jenelle, 32, and David, 35, at a North Carolina court, as they appeared in the pouring rain over her request for a restraining order for herself and her three children.
David arrived first to court just before the hearing began at 9:30 am, while Jenelle trailed in about 15 minutes after the court was already in session.
Jenelle, who appeared reluctant to say much more than her case was continued, also revealed she didn’t even look at her ex-to-be during the hearing.
“I didn’t even look at him,” the former reality star told The U.S. Sun outside the courthouse.
A source close to the case revealed, “David asked for a continuance, and the judge typically grants that first continuance, so they’ll be going back.”
The Ashley’s Reality Roundup first reported news of the hearing.
In her request for a restraining order, as The U.S. Sun previously revealed, she alleged that David said horrific things to and about her children.
JENELLE’S REQUEST FOR PROTECTION
In the papers filed by Jenelle, she alleged David “exhibited emotionally abusive behavior to and in the presence of the minor children.”
The former reality star claimed he’s said things like “I hate these kids,” “These kids are a**holes,” and “‘I just want to run away from these motherf***ers and never come back.'”
The former Teen Mom 2 star also claimed David told the kids, while not specifying which child received which alleged insult, “You’re stupid,” “Stop acting so gay,” “Little screaming b***h,” “Stop being a f****t,” and “Your mom is a piece of s**t.”
Meanwhile, Jenelle alleged that her estranged husband had told her to kill herself.
Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans’ ex David Eason served with court summons while he’s living on boat in nasty split
The U.S. Sun obtained videos and photos of David being served with the case while living on the couple’s boat.
David was hit with a legal double whammy on the boat last week: Jenelle’s request for an order of protection and papers for their separation.
ANOTHER DOG DEAD
In Jenelle’s petition for a domestic violence protective order, first filed last month, the star claimed her ex killed another puppy.
The former reality star claimed the incident with David happened during an argument at their home on February 6, 2024.
“David has an argument with Jenelle outside of house in the driveway,” the complaint read.
“David storms off, gets into Jenelle’s Toyota Sequoia to drive away without asking Jenelle’s permission, pulls out really fast, ran over a puppy, and killed it.
“Kids were at school but stepdaughter [David’s daughter Maryssa, 16] was home at the time and witnessed the dog dying. David also witnessed the dog dying,” the disturbing court filing continued.
Jenelle recently took to social media and claimed David harmed “two of the puppies.”
“Why don’t you ask him what he did to 2 of the puppies? He wants to talk s**t about me well he’s the one that didn’t keep them safe. One of them was his daughters [sic],” she said in a recent post.
As fans of the Teen Mom 2 series know, David was accused of shooting dead the family French bulldog Nugget in 2019.
He later admitted to killing the dog in an interview with People.
It’s unclear if Nugget was one of the two puppies Jenelle was referring to in her recent post.
Jenelle outlined a litany of other alleged behaviors of David’s in her request for an order of protection for herself and her children.
JENELLE’S ‘ABUSIVE’ ALLEGATIONS
In the filing, Jenelle brought up several instances of alleged abusive and violent behavior by her ex in her request for a protective order, most of which have already been made public.
Jenelle discussed a widely reported incident in which she called 911 in 2018.
In the emergency call she claimed David attacked her and hurt her collarbone.
“David and Janelle were hanging out with friends and David got into an argument and tackled Jenelle to the ground,” she alleged.
“David put Jenelle’s arm behind her back and David was on top of her pushing down on her chest so hard her ligaments tore at her collarbone,” the former MTV star alleged.
Jenelle and David’s relationship timeline
Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans met David Eason on Tinder in September of 2015.
Jenelle got pregnant in April 2016 and announced she suffered a miscarriage, then she became pregnant again with her and David’s daughter, Ensley, a few months later.
The pair got engaged in February 2017 and tied the knot that September.
A year after saying “I do,” Jenelle called 911 and accused David of assaulting her outside their home. She would later call the incident “a drunk and dramatic misunderstanding” and said she was “fine.”
In around May 2019, David shot and killed their French bulldog puppy named Nugget. Weeks after the incident, CPS took custody of all of the children, including their daughter, Ensley, Jenelle’s son, Kaiser, and David’s daughter, Maryssa.
When her children were returned to her, Jenelle fled to Tennessee with Kaiser and Ensley and filed an order of protection against David in October. She ultimately dropped the case and went back to him.
In the following years, the couple sparked split rumors as the pair would often unfollow each other on social media and update their Facebook relationship statuses.
As The U.S. Sun exclusively reported, on February 23, 2024, Jenelle filed for separation from David. She stated that she filed the documents with “the intent that the separation be permanent” and claimed that Eason had “exhibited concerning and at times disturbing behavior towards [her]” throughout their marriage.
“While David was on top of Jenelle she screamed and cried, ‘You’re hurting me. Oh my God, please get off!”‘
Jenelle alleged the hospital told her her collarbone was torn, but not broken, and she added she still suffers from pain from the incident to this day.
The star ultimately did not press charges against David for the incident at the time and later chalked it up to a drunken misunderstanding.
In the filing, Jenelle also referenced when she and David split after he shot dead their dog Nugget.
After the incident, she briefly lost custody of her kids to CPS, and when she got them back, she moved with Kaiser and Ensley to Tennessee and filed a restraining order against David there.
In her court filing, she said the protective order was also being submitted as evidence, which The U.S. Sun covered in full detail late last year.
The U.S. Sun has reached out to an attorney for David multiple times for comment.
