The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is sort of known for taking actresses and turning them into mega-watt reality stars. Take Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson, for example. Or, you could look to Garcelle Beauvais, who, after her first season as a diamond holder, snagged a regular seat as a co-host of The Real and a massive book deal. So, what actress has considered joining next? Well, we’re here to tell you.

Tisha Campbell, known for appearing in the late ’90s classic Martin, as well as her LEGENDARY singing skills, told Us Weekly that producers have asked her to join RHOBH in the past. However, the timing wasn’t right.
“… right now is not the time. I’m not anti, it’s just not the time,” she said before saying she enjoys her privacy.
“I’m not as bold to share like that,” she said. “You have to be bold.”
Tisha showered former reality stars like Tami Roman and Cardi B with love, saying she admired their ability to parlay reality TV “into a different career.”
“I love that. Big ups to anybody who does that.”
“There can be downsides. But there can be upsides, too. And those two are perfect examples.”
The actress also pointed to one of Bravo’s biggest stars, Real Housewives of Atlanta’s own NeNe Leakes. In case you forgot, NeNe starred in primetime television shows like Glee and The New Normal. The RHOA OG also appeared on Broadway in Chicago and Cinderella alongside Keke Palmer.
Despite her concerns, Tisha said she loves “a good reality show.” However, she also noted things can get extremely messy. “Sometimes it can leave you feeling like, ‘I didn’t want to see these people’s business,’” she said. “Whereas watching a sitcom, you’re just laughing, and it’s a good feeling.”
