‘We аіn’t done!’ Drаymond Green reveаlѕ Steрh Curry’ѕ meѕѕаge аfter devаѕtаtіng end to ѕeаѕon

The Golden State Warriors failed to make the playoffs after losing to the Sacramento Kings. On a recent podcast episode, Draymond Green revealed his conversation with teammate Steph Curry following the loss. The Warriors endured a disappointing regular season, and the loss brought the Golden State’s fading dynasty to perspective.

'We ain’t done!' Draymond Green reveals Steph Curry’s message after devastating end to season

According to Green, Steph Curry asserted that he does not see himself playing without his fellow Splash Brothers and told Green after the loss to the Kings that they’re not done yet.

Right after the game, in the Kings locker room, I said, ‘I love you, bro.’ He was like, ‘I love you too. We ain’t done.’ You right. Got it. Noted. We ain’t. Draymond Green said via ‘The Draymond Green Show’

There is a growing discontent among supporters of the Dubs on whether their current team can realistically compete at a high level, with Draymond Green and Klay Thompson being Steph Curry’s co-stars. While some have blamed Green or Thompson, who is not sure of receiving a max contract. This might spell the end for the Splash Bros, but the ‘Baby-Faced Assassin’ doesn’t think so.

However, Green is under a long-term contract, and Curry’s bold statement shows that he wants to compete and continue winning with him. This puts a lot of pressure on their front office as they have a massive rebuilding to do to keep their best player satisfied.

Coach Steve Kerr says the Warriors are lucky to have Draymond Green

While Steph Curry has hinted that the Dubs aren’t done yet, fans are pointing an accusing finger at Draymond Green for the team’s woes. However, team head coach Steve Kerr has come to the defense of Green claiming that fans should be grateful because there would be no championship titles to brag about without him.

I will stick with [Draymond] forever because I know who he is as a human being… Without Draymond, we have 0 championships, I don’t think people realize that…For our fans, I would say: Be lucky, be fortunate, be grateful that you’ve had Draymond Green for 12 years. You have four championships and two finals appearances beyond that. Steve Kerr said via ‘95.7 The Game’

However, he admitted that the veteran forward did cross the line on multiple occasions last season, from choking Rudy Gobert to punching Jusuf Nurkic, both of which resulted in suspensions.

Green is an invaluable asset to the Dubs due to his defensive presence on the court and his vocal presence, which, sometimes, can be overboard. His presence gives the team a better chance of winning, and to fulfill Curry’s rally, they need him to stay focused.
