<\/p>\nAs\u00a0Scheana Shay<\/strong>\u00a0continues to manifest a potential appearance on\u00a0Dancing With the Stars<\/em>, there\u2019s one professional dancer she definitely wouldn\u2019t want as her partner.<\/p>\n
During the Tuesday, April 9, episode of\u00a0Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen<\/em>, Shay, 38, was asked about\u00a0Gleb Savchenko<\/strong>\u2018s recent comments\u00a0regarding her dancing ability \u2014 or alleged lack thereof.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cI thought that was very rude and uncalled for of him. But it is what it is,\u201d Shay said. \u201cIt is OK, I wouldn\u2019t want him as my partner anyway.\u201d<\/p>\n
As Shay expressed her preference for\u00a0DWTS<\/em>\u00a0pro\u00a0Alan Bersten<\/strong>, her husband,\u00a0Brock Davies,<\/strong>\u00a0questioned why Savchenko, 40, passed judgment on Shay\u2019s skills considering the concept of the show\u00a0requires contestants who don\u2019t have an extensive dance background.<\/p>\n
\u201cMaybe Gleb could teach her how to dance and be a better coach?\u201d Davies, 32, pointed out.<\/p>\n
Savchenko personally admitted that he agreed with\u00a0Ariana Madix<\/strong>\u00a0getting offered the gig for season 32 over her\u00a0Vanderpump Rules<\/em>\u00a0costar. (Shay\u2019s initial reaction has been a story line on season 11 of\u00a0Vanderpump Rules<\/em>.)<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m glad Scheana didn\u2019t go [on the show],\u201d Savchenko told the U.S. Sun on April 2. \u201cI don\u2019t think she would\u2019ve had the same chance as Ariana.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to Savchenko, he wasn\u2019t thrilled by Shay\u2019s moves when he helped choreograph a dance for her\u00a02014 wedding to\u00a0Mike Shay<\/strong>, adding, \u201cI remember it wasn\u2019t easy. I\u2019m not saying bad things about her. I think Scheana is amazing. I really like her. She\u2019s an awesome girl and everything.\u201d<\/p>\n
Savchenko also offered some advice for others hoping to join the show.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf you ever want to be on\u00a0Dancing With the Stars<\/em>\u00a0and you feel like you have enough celebrity power to be on a show, whoever that is \u2014 it\u2019s not just Scheana or anybody else \u2014 you should start taking classes,\u201d he continued. \u201cPeople think, \u2018Oh yeah, we\u2019ll just chill for a couple of hours in the dance studio. I\u2019m going to hang out with this handsome dude who has got a Russian accent, and he\u2019ll be smiling.’\u201d<\/p>\n
Shay, however, had a different version of events about her past dance with Savchenko.<\/p>\n

<\/figure>\n\u201cWe filmed a scene for\u00a0Vanderpump Rules<\/em>, which is also the first time I have ever danced in my life. I have never claimed to be a dancer,\u201d she said on Tuesday. \u201cFor the first partner dance I\u2019m doing, he was whipping me around. I even found that video recently and I\u2019m like, \u2018I thought I did pretty good.’\u201d<\/p>\n
The reality star has been receiving backlash after she got emotional on season 11 of\u00a0Vanderpump Rules<\/em>\u00a0when Madix, 38,\u00a0was offered a\u00a0DWTS<\/em>\u00a0slot over her in the aftermath of Scandovoal.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis year, I started taking dance class. I was preparing in case I did get it. It was kind of a punch to the gut, for sure,\u201d she told\u00a0Lisa Vanderpump<\/strong>\u00a0during a March episode. \u201cI am so happy for her. But I can be happy for her and sad for me at the same time.\u201d<\/p>\n
Shay got emotional about the opportunity, telling\u00a0Lala Kent<\/strong>\u00a0in a separate scene, \u201cEven her getting\u00a0Dancing With the Stars<\/em>, she knew how bad I wanted that. And I told her, \u2018I am so genuinely happy for you. I will be there every f\u2014king Monday that you want me there. She does deserve everything she is getting right now and I am so happy for her that she did not go down a dark spiral. I just am hurting still.\u201d<\/p>\n
She continued: \u201cWhy can I never have one moment where it can be about me? I am hurt. I lost a very, very dear friend. I am struggling with that. But I am not allowed to feel anything because it is only about Ariana. I am tired.\u201d<\/p>\n
Madix, meanwhile, didn\u2019t understand\u00a0why Shay got so upset on screen.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn one hand, I can totally understand being happy for a friend while also feeling like, \u2018Oh, you did also really want this thing for yourself,’\u201d Madix said that same month on\u00a0WWHL<\/em>. \u201cBut on the other hand, my thought process is that if one person from our show gets on it, wouldn\u2019t that help someone else from our show get on it?\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
