It\u2019s almost par for the course with some stars. But rarely do these disputes ever end with the star heading off to prison.<\/p>\n<p>But such was the case for\u00a0Joe Giudice. His wife,\u00a0Teresa Giudice, joined him behind bars (well, they served time concurrently) back in 2015 when the two were convicted of fraud charges. The\u00a0Real Housewives of New Jersey\u00a0star served a shorter sentence than her husband, but it still couldn\u2019t have been easy for either of them.<\/p>\n<p>At least they both had a family to visit them. While Teresa and Joe\u2019s relationship isn\u2019t what it used to be, there was a time when things were good between them and the kids, even while in prison.\u00a0Milania Giudice\u00a0recently took to her mother\u2019s podcast, Namaste B$tches on PodcastOne, to discuss what that was like.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-milania-s-time-in-prison\">Milania\u2019s time in prison<\/h2>\n<figure><\/figure>\n<p>First, she discussed the setup and usual activities. \u201cMy mom had to sit across from him and [my siblings and I] were allowed to sit next to him. And we\u2019d play like Uno and \u2026 get a whole bunch of snacks from the vending machines. We would eat a whole bunch of sh*t, get so fat.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>From the way Milania discussed it, it sounded like a positive experience overall. \u201cWe would just laugh and we would just talk about everything \u2026 laugh about how my dad\u2019s in a tan suit right now \u2026 We made the best out of everything. Like, I mean it did suck,\u201d she confirmed, but further explained, \u201cWe always had smiles on our faces, no matter what we went through.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Milania ended up moralizing and turning the tale into a life lesson. \u201cObviously, everybody has their hard days,\u201d she said, \u201c[But] you get up. You always have to get up.\u201d It truly is a poignant message on dealing with tough circumstances.
