Alexis Bellino is opening up about the reasoning behind her September split from former fianc\u00e9 Andrew \u201cDrew\u201d Bohn.<\/p>\n

Months after suddenly calling it quits with Drew after four years of dating, the Real Housewives of Orange County alum, 46, explained how her mother Penelope\u2019s August death impacted the decision while also opening up about her potential return to the show and Tamra Judge\u2018s messy season 17 feud with Heather Dubrow, 54.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do think she\u2019s manipulative and conniving, and I think she would sell her own mom to stay on the show,\u201d Alexis joked of Tamra during an interview with Page Six at BravoCon. \u201cI don\u2019t think she would deny any of that if we asked her, too.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the recently aired RHOC reunion, Alexis\u2019 name came up as Tamra, 56, shaded Heather for favoring Alexis\u2019 return over her own.<\/p>\n

\u201c[It\u2019s] disgraceful,\u201d Alexis said of Tamra\u2019s behavior. \u201cIt\u2019s ridiculous that she is using my name as an excuse to carry out any of this behavior.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Alexis stopped watching the show after her departure in 2013, she began watching it after Heather and Tamra returned.<\/p>\n

\u201cHeather and I are pretty close and just having Tamra come back, I wanted to tune in. I gave it one or two episodes to see how it would go,\u201d she admitted. \u201cAnd then I got pretty hooked \u2026 [Tamra] made for good TV this year in all of her drunken stupors.\u201d<\/p>\n

After applauding Tamra\u2019s ability to \u201cdrive conflict\u201d in the series, Alexis suggested Tamra went after Heather in an effort to maintain her full-time role.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s what keeps her relevant,\u201d she noted. \u201cAnd I feel like this year, Tamra was out to really prove, \u2018Don\u2019t let me go again, Andy Cohen. I\u2019m here for a good reason.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

As for whether she\u2019d consider following in the footsteps of Tamra and Heather and reclaim her position on RHOC, Alexis suggested she\u2019s open to it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m definitely excited and proud to be associated with the network, and I\u2019d never want to say never,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd I\u2019ll leave it at that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moving on to her split from Drew, Alexis said she \u201c[recognized]\u201d a level of incompatibility between them after her mom\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe death of a close person like your mom either makes a couple or breaks a couple,\u201d Alexis said, also to Page Six. \u201cAnd, unfortunately for me, it broke us.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI felt it was better if we just take different paths for now and he agreed,\u201d she continued. \u201cI just know it was the best decision for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for what she\u2019ll be looking for in her next relationship, Alexis said, \u201cI don\u2019t want anyone controlling, but I don\u2019t want anyone too passive \u2026 I definitely am looking for someone who is spiritual. They don\u2019t have to be super successful, but I just need someone driven and motivated.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGood, well-rounded humor is important to me. You have to be funny. If we don\u2019t laugh together, there\u2019s a problem,\u201d she added. \u201cI want to be laughing all day long. That\u2019s kind of what I\u2019m looking for.\u201d<\/p>\n

As RHOC fans well know, Alexis was previously married to Jim Bellino, the father of her three kids, James, 16, and 15-year-old twins Miles and Mackenna. And while they experienced tension post-split, Alexis said they\u2019re in \u201ca really great place right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI know it takes time after a divorce, but this is probably the best place we\u2019ve been in since the divorce,\u201d she noted. \u201cWe\u2019ve realized we need to be friends. It\u2019s healthier for the kids, it\u2019s healthier for him and I. And we are forever connected because he\u2019ll always be the father of my children. And I wouldn\u2019t change that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alexis appeared in seasons five through eight of The Real Housewives of Orange County.<\/p>\n
