It never really seemed to progress beyond the physical before Lindsay reunited with Carl and eventually got engaged. But now Lindsay\u2019s two exes have seemingly become \u201cbesties.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Austen has a new gal, while Carl\u2019s taking his time<\/h2>\n<div class=\"instagram-media-wrapper caas-loaded\" data-embed-anchor=\"08c20065-128f-522b-bde0-c7a25238022b\" data-caas-lazy-loading-init=\"1\"><\/div>\n<p>The Charleston native and the New Yorker recently met up at an undisclosed location, where they were spotted by fans. They obliged by posing for a photo (no longer available), which Carl re-shared on his Instagram Stories. The photo was captioned, \u201cHi Besties.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>These days Austen has a new girlfriend. \u201cI am seeing someone right now, yeah,\u201d he told\u00a0Andy Cohen\u00a0during an episode of\u00a0Watch What Happens Live\u00a0back in January. He also revealed that his girlfriend was \u201cnot\u201d based in Charleston, nor is she on a TV show.<\/p>\n<p>As for Carl, he\u2019s taking things slow and doesn\u2019t feel ready to jump back into the dating pool just yet. Concentrating on his sobriety and getting himself emotionally healthy is a smart move on his part. Months following the end of his engagement to Lindsay, he\u2019s enjoying his space.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t feel like it\u2019s responsible or fair to try and pursue a new relationship when there\u2019s still some entanglements,\u201d the Loverboy salesman, says as the breakup of his engagement plays out on TV. \u201cI personally feel like it\u2019s best for me to take some more time, really focus on myself, my career, my family, my friendships.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sounds like a good plan. Take your time, Carl.
