News about Season 16 of\u00a0The Real Housewives of Atlanta<\/strong>\u00a0has been extremely tardy for the party. However, that\u2019s not stopping fans from pushing for their favorite peach holders to return.<\/p>\n

As you know, Bravo has been focusing all of its efforts on perfecting the cast for Atlanta\u2019s Sweet 16. We found out a while ago that\u00a0Porsha Williams\u00a0would return after\u00a0her short break.\u00a0Kenya Moore\u00a0also\u00a0confirmed her return, saying she may be gone with the wind but wouldn\u2019t be going anywhere just yet.<\/p>\n

Another veteran that fans hope will survive the cast shakeup is\u00a0Shere\u00e9 Whitfield<\/strong>. She\u2019s an OG known for giving us iconic moments like She By Shere\u00e9, epic one-liners, and interesting storylines, like her jailbird boyfriend,\u00a0Tyrone Gilliams.\u00a0Tamra Judge<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Teddi Mellencamp<\/strong>\u00a0discussed Atlanta\u2019s hiatus on their\u00a0podcast and said they believe Ms. September [and\/or] Spring\/Summer should return.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s no secret that Bravo and NBC Universal have been taking their time trying to figure out Atlanta\u2019s future. That\u2019s why the franchise\u2019s longest-running cast member,\u00a0Kandi Burruss, stepped away\u00a0after Season 15. \u201cIt\u2019s been 14 seasons, and they allowed us to sit around for a little too long,\u201d she said in February. \u201cBut during that time, I had started working on a lot of other things, and I got some nice big projects coming soon, so I\u2019m super excited about those things.\u201d<\/p>\n

During their podcast, Tamra reported that Shere\u00e9\u2019s role is still being figured out but admitted she \u201cloves\u201d the\u00a0RHOA\u00a0OG.<\/p>\n

Teddi agreed, saying Shere\u00e9 brings fun energy, stirs the pot, and can \u201claugh at herself.\u201d<\/p>\n

They added that not every Housewife can produce an explosive storyline each season. \u201cWe need people that are funny,\u201d Teddi said. \u201cWe need funny and Shere\u00e9 is funny.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although we\u2019re still waiting to hear about Shere\u00e9\u2019s future, we know a few Housewives who won\u2019t hold that coveted peach for Season 16.<\/p>\n

Marlo Hampton, who was upgraded to full-time status after Season 13, announced her\u00a0departure\u00a0earlier this year. \u201cMy contract with Real Housewives of Atlanta ended when Season 15 wrapped. This break from RHOA is a fresh start, allowing me the space to participate in new creative entertainment projects focused on my future and not reliving my past,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Sanya Richards-Ross\u00a0is another cast member who won\u2019t return the next season. Even though Bravo hasn\u2019t confirmed the news,\u00a0Andy Cohen\u00a0slipped and\u00a0spilled the beans\u00a0during his radio show,\u00a0Andy Cohen Live, in March.<\/p>\n

As far as\u00a0Drew Sidora\u00a0is concerned, we\u2019re all waiting to learn her fate.
