While the most well-known case might be Dorinda Medley being put \u201con pause\u201d from \u201cThe Real Housewives of New York City\u201d after the network did not renew her contract for season 13, Robyn Dixon is the latest, revealing why she is leaving \u201cReal Housewives of Potomac\u201d after 8 seasons.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe network did not invite me back. I was fired, for lack of better words. I will not sugar-coat the situation the situation and say, \u2018Ooh I am walking away and this is a break\u2019 or anything like this. Listen, anyone can say whatever they want when they leave \u2018The Housewives\u2019 and I just love it that that\u2019s what she said,\u201d Cohen shared on air.<\/p>\n<p>He also opened up about the news that Dixon\u2019s co-star Candiace Dillard Bassett was exiting the series. Dillard Bassett, in her announced to People, said that she had \u201cdecided to take a break\u201d from the series.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCandiace is also leaving the show, and I have to say both of them have contributed mightily to the show.
