Aside from Mahomes\u2019 love for basketball, the quarterback appears more fond of baseball.<\/p>\n<p>But he sure is mindful to not repeat the mistakes of Jordan. He ought to take a lesson from it and instead of leaving the NFL glory at the prime of his career, he would much prefer checking out his abilities on the ball field. Given he lacks no dedication and commitment toward leading the Chiefs to their ultimate goal of a three-peat, the Chiefs are likely to approve the quarterback\u2019s request.<\/p>\n<p>When asked the Chiefs head coach Andy Reid about Mahomes\u2019 interest in baseball, he said:<\/p>\n<p>He was a heck of a baseball player. He grew up around it. I\u2019m sure he can play in the major leagues. I mean, he\u2019s pretty gifted. He\u2019d have to take me as a manager.
