The Real Housewives of Atlanta<\/em>\u00a0has said goodbye to many cast members since its Bravo debut in 2008 \u2014 but there\u2019s always a chance they could return.<\/p>\n

For instance, original\u00a0RHOA<\/em>\u00a0star\u00a0NeNe Leakes<\/strong>\u00a0left the show in season 7 before rejoining the cast in 2018. \u201cIt\u2019s been a long process but we\u2019ve finally reached an agreement! All hail the Queen for season 10 of #RHOA @bravotv #thethreatisback,\u201d she announced via Twitter one year earlier.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the beginning of the season, what did my mama say? \u2018Get in and get out,\u2019\u201d the\u00a0Facts of Life<\/em>\u00a0star said during a 2016 episode of\u00a0The Rickey Smiley Morning Show<\/em>\u00a0after starring on season 8. \u201cListen to your mama.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Lisa Wu<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

Lisa was a full-time cast member on\u00a0RHOA<\/em>\u00a0for the first two seasons from 2008 to 2009. She appeared on the series as a guest in season 3, and made additional cameos in seasons 9, 10, 14 and 15.<\/p>\n

The former backup dancer has focused on her acting career since leaving the\u00a0RHOA<\/em>, landing roles in films such as\u00a0The Internship<\/em>,\u00a0London Mitchell\u2019s Christmas<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Pinch<\/em>. Lisa also starred in TV One\u2019s reality series\u00a0Hollywood Divas<\/em>\u00a0for three seasons. As of early 2024, she is set to star in\u00a0A Little Piece of Heaven<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Lisa\u2019s personal life has also changed since she exited the series. She filed for divorce from her husband of five years,\u00a0Ed Hartwell<\/strong>, with whom she shares one son, in August 2011. Fans will also remember Wu also shares two sons, Jordan and Justin, with her first husband, singer\u00a0Keith Sweat<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Phaedra Parks<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

Phaedra exited\u00a0RHOA<\/em>\u00a0after six seasons in 2017 after she admitted at the season 9 reunion that she lied about\u00a0Kandi Burruss<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Todd Tucker<\/strong>\u2019s alleged plan to date rape\u00a0Porsha Williams.<\/strong>\u00a0Since her dramatic departure, the attorney\u00a0signed\u00a0on with Wilhelmina Models and frequently shares photos of her two sons, Ayden and Dylan, with ex-husband\u00a0Apollo Nida.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In October 2021, she exclusively told\u00a0Us<\/em>\u00a0that she will \u201cnever\u201d let her kids watch\u00a0RHOA<\/em>. \u201cThat\u2019s not child-appropriate,\u201d she said. \u201cI don\u2019t think it was created for children and so I don\u2019t know if any responsible parent allows their child to watch those types of shows.\u201d<\/p>\n

Phaedra made her acting debut in 2021 while guest starring on\u00a0Covenant<\/em>. In 2024, she made a cameo on an episode of\u00a0Will Trent<\/em>\u00a0and, most memorably, was a standout star on season two of Peacock’s smash reality competition\u00a0The Traitors<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Kim Fields<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

The Facts of Life<\/em>\u00a0alum joined the Bravo series for season 8 in 2015 and did not return for a second season. Shortly after her exit, she competed on season 22 of\u00a0Dancing With the Stars<\/em>\u00a0with professional dancer\u00a0Sasha Farber<\/strong>. She was sent home during a double elimination and finished in eighth place.<\/p>\n

Kim also starred in the TV movie\u00a0Wrapped Up in Christmas\u00a0<\/em>and the Netflix series\u00a0The Upshaws<\/i>\u00a0and 2024’s\u00a0The Gutter<\/em>. She released a book titled\u00a0Bless Life: My Surprising Journey of Joy, Tears and Tales from Harlem to Hollywood<\/em>\u00a0in 2017. She continues to direct TV shows including\u00a0Tyler Perry\u2019s Young Dylan<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Raven\u2019s Home<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Kim has been married to\u00a0Christopher Morgan<\/strong> since 2007. The couple share son Sebastian.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

DeShawn Snow<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

DeShawn was one of the OG\u00a0Real Housewives of Atlanta,<\/em>\u00a0starring on season 1 in 2008. She left the series after one season and has never returned. However, the drama did not stop after she left reality TV. She got divorced from her husband,\u00a0Eric Snow<\/strong>, with whom she shares three sons, after 12 years of marriage in 2010.<\/p>\n

She launched a career as a children\u2019s chapter book author in 2012. DeShawn is now a personal coach and a real estate agent.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Claudia Jordan<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

The actress and model was added to\u00a0RHOA<\/em>\u00a0as a full-time cast member for season 7 in 2014. While she did not return as a series regular for season 8, she made a guest appearance that season. Following her exit, Claudia starred on TV One\u2019s reality series\u00a0The Next: 15<\/em>, which followed former reality TV personalities. She also competed on an episode of\u00a0Chopped<\/em>\u00a0and appeared in multiple TV movies, including\u00a0Sharknado 5: Global Swarming,\u00a0<\/em>along with the 2020 documentary, Trump vs. Hollywood.<\/i><\/p>\n

She hosted her own talk show,\u00a0Out Loud With Claudia Jordan<\/em>, from 2019 to 2021 for the Fox Soul streaming network. Claudia later starred in\u00a0All I Want Is You<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Crossed<\/em>\u00a0and in 2024 she competed on\u00a0Deal or No Deal Island<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

NeNe Leakes<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

The OG cast member first exited the series in season 7 before returning for season 10 in 2018. Two years later, NeNe once again announced her departure from the show.<\/p>\n

In September 2020, she claimed that Bravo \u201cforced\u201d her \u201cout of the franchise.\u201d However, NeNe teased in November 2021 that she had some \u201cunfinished business\u201d with the reality series and was \u201cOK with returning to the show as long as we can work through a few things,\u201d she told\u00a0The Real<\/em>\u00a0at the time. \u201cI\u2019d be happy to return.\u201d<\/p>\n

NeNe\u2019s husband of nearly 20 years,\u00a0Gregg Leakes<\/strong>, died in September 2021 at age 66 following his battle with colon cancer. A month later, she reunited with her former RHOA costars at Gregg\u2019s celebration of life ceremony. In October 2022, NeNe\u2019s youngest son, Brentt, was sent to the hospital after he suffered from a heart attack and stroke.<\/p>\n

Professionally, NeNe has appeared on\u00a0Dynasty<\/em>\u00a0since her\u00a0RHOA<\/em>\u00a0exit and starred in 2024\u2019s\u00a0Hunting Housewives<\/em> on Lifetime.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Cynthia Bailey<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

The former model announced her exit from\u00a0RHOA<\/em>\u00a0in September 2021 after 11 years on the series. In October 2022, the Bailey\u2019s Wine Cellar founder announced she and\u00a0Mike Hill<\/strong>\u00a0were separating after two years of marriage.<\/p>\n

The following year, Cynthia returned to\u00a0RHOA<\/em>\u00a0for four episodes of season 15. She also appeared on several\u00a0Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em>\u00a0episodes in 2023 and one in 2024. Acting wise, Cynthia has starred in\u00a0Blossom<\/em>,\u00a0Under His Influence<\/em>,\u00a0Miami Confidential<\/em>\u00a0and guest starred on\u00a0BMF<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Porsha Williams<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

The Georgia native, who shares daughter Pilar with\u00a0Dennis McKinley<\/strong>, announced her departure from the Bravo franchise in September 2021.\u00a0In November 2022, Porsha\u00a0tied the knot with\u00a0Simon Guobadia<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 who was previously married to\u00a0RHOA<\/em>\u2019s\u00a0Falynn Guobadia<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 after being engaged for more than a year.<\/p>\n

Porsha starred in\u00a0The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Porsha\u2019s Family Matters<\/em>, which was about Porsha\u2019s whirlwind romance with Simon and her family\u2019s opinions, in 2021 to 2022. She returned to the Bravo universe in 2023 with season 3 of\u00a0The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip<\/em>. She also serves as the cohost on FOX\u2019s\u00a0Dish Nation<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Porsha announced in February 2024 that she\u2019s\u00a0returning to\u00a0RHOA<\/em> for season 16.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Eva Marcille<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

Eva announced in June 2020 that she was\u00a0exiting the series\u00a0after three seasons. Three years later, Eva filed for divorce from husband\u00a0Michael Sterling<\/strong>. The pair share sons Mikey and Maverick. Eva is also the mother of daughter Marley, whom she shares with ex\u00a0Kevin McCall<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Since leaving Bravo, Eva has continued to act with roles in\u00a0A Christmas Fumble<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0A New Diva\u2019s Christmas Carol<\/em>. She starred in\u00a0Sistas<\/em>\u00a0from 2022 to 2023 and has been playing Marilyn \u201cMadam\u201d DeVille on\u00a0All the Queen\u2019s Men<\/em> since 2021.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Kim Zolciak-Biermann<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

Kim was a full-time cast member from 2008 to 2012. She went on to star in a spinoff called\u00a0Don\u2019t Be Tardy<\/em>\u00a0with her then-husband,\u00a0Kroy Biermann<\/strong>. The series was canceled in 2020. Kim returned to RHOA for\u00a0a cameo during season 15.<\/p>\n

Kim and Kroy welcomed four children, KJ, Kash and twins Kaia and Kane, during their marriage. Kroy also adopted Kim\u2019s two daughters, Brielle and Ariana, from previous relationships. In May 2023, the pair both filed for divorce. Although they briefly reconciled, Kroy filed again that summer and the estranged spouses have been in a messy legal battle.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Kandi Burress<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

Kandi announced in February 2024 that she is\u00a0taking a break\u00a0from\u00a0RHOA<\/em>\u00a0after 14 seasons. Kandi initially joined the cast in 2009 during season 2. She also starred in spinoffs\u00a0The Kandi Factory<\/em>,\u00a0Kandi\u2019s Wedding<\/em>,\u00a0Kandi\u2019s Ski Trip<\/em>,\u00a0Xscape: Still Kickin\u2019 It<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Kandi & the Gang<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Marlo Hampton<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

Marlo told\u00a0Us<\/em>\u00a0in a February 2024 statement that she would\u00a0not be returning\u00a0for season 16 for\u00a0RHOA<\/em>.
