He even put Curry over him, telling everyone that Curry was in a\u00a0<em>\u201cclass of his own\u201d<\/em>, being the best shooter in the sport.<\/p>\n<h2>Shaquille O\u2019Neal wasn\u2019t a great defender<\/h2>\n<p class=\"data-event\" data-type=\"content\" data-variant=\"p\">Shaq worked hard on the court, often taking loads of punishment under the basketball. The Hack-A-Shaq strategy didn\u2019t help either as the Laker legend left games bruised and irritated. So when it came to playing defense, he was rarely proactive. He could no longer bully bigs in the post unassisted, and the Lakers legend was not amused by it.
