RYAN ACCUSED MACKENZIE OF BEING UNFAITHFUL IN JANUARY 2023<\/h2>\n

The couple first sparked split speculation in January 2023 when\u00a0Ryan publicly accused Mackenzie of cheating\u00a0after returning to social media after a nearly five-year hiatus.<\/p>\n

\u201cI trusted you but now your words mean nothing to me, because your actions spoke the truth,\u201d a quote shared by Ryan read, which has since been deleted. The MTV alum captioned the image, \u201cYour regret is coming \u2026 good lord showed me what I need but not what I wanted [sic].\u201d<\/p>\n

Ryan also commented under a photo on Mackenzie\u2019s profile of them from July 2022, telling her to take it down.<\/p>\n

RYAN WAS ARRESTED FOR VIOLATING PROTECTIVE ORDER AGAINST MACKENZIE<\/h2>\n

Ryan was\u00a0arrested on February 10, 2023, after violating an order of protection against Mackenzie.<\/p>\n

\u201cDuring today\u2019s conversation with Mackenzie, it was discovered that Ryan had violated the Order of Protection by contacting her father on Thursday advising him to let Mackenzie know he would be at the residence that same day to gather his belongings,\u201d the sheriff\u2019s office said in a press release following Ryan\u2019s arrest. \u201cDuring the course of looking into the issue of breaking the Order of Protection, HCSO deputies learned that Ryan had an active warrant for harassment which was taken out by the Chattanooga Police Department. Mackenzie was listed as the victim in that incident. That warrant was taken out on February 8, 2023.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ryan was taken into custody at his place of employment and was found to be in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia.<\/p>\n

Ryan allegedly destroyed the marital home he shared with Mackenzie, as seen in\u00a0body cam footage\u00a0obtained by\u00a0In Touch<\/em>. The video shows the Chattanooga, Tennessee, home in shambles after the reality TV alum left furniture overturned, windows broken, holes punched in walls and derogatory slurs graffitied on the walls and their bed.<\/p>\n

A judge later dismissed the reality TV star\u2019s charges including stalking, possession of drug paraphernalia and violating a protection order during a March 2023 court hearing, according to online records viewed by\u00a0In Touch.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

MACKENZIE FILES FOR DIVORCE<\/h2>\n

Eighteen days after Ryan\u2019s February arrest,\u00a0Mackenzie filed for divorce\u00a0on February 27, 2023. At the time, a restraining order and temporary custody of their two children were granted to her.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

RYAN WAS ARRESTED AGAIN IN MARCH 2023<\/h2>\n

Ryan allegedly violated the restraining order just two days later, when he was\u00a0arrested on stalking charges\u00a0against his estranged wife on March 1, 2023. \u201cEarlier this afternoon, Hamilton County Sheriff\u2019s Office personnel arrested Ryan Edwards on the following charges: Stalking [and] Violation of Order of Protection,\u201d a press release stated. Ryan was released on bond the following day.<\/p>\n

Ryan appeared in Tennesse court and most of his charges stemming from his February 10 and March 1, 2023, arrests were dropped.\u00a0Judge Gary Barnes<\/strong>\u00a0dismissed multiple charges including stalking, possession of drug paraphernalia and violating a protection order, according to online records viewed by\u00a0In Touch<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The judge also explained that Ryan\u2019s charge of possession of a controlled substance would be dismissed if he completed six months in rehab. Additionally, Ryan pleaded guilty to harassment and was ordered to wear a GPS monitor, go to rehab, have no contact with the victim \u2013 his estranged wife \u2013 have no social media relating to Mackenzie and \u201ccomplete HCP Level 2 for 11 months and 29 days\u201d unless he is in treatment, per records viewed by\u00a0In Touch<\/em>.<\/p>\n

After his arrest,\u00a0Ryan broke his silence on social media\u00a0on March 9, 2023, simply writing, \u201cIt is what it is\u201d on Instagram.<\/p>\n

Ryan entered rehab two days after his court appearance on March 16, 2023, but failed to complete the six-month requirement after checking himself out early on April 3, 2023.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

RYAN WAS ARRESTED AND OVERDOSED IN APRIL 2023<\/h2>\n

Ryan was rushed to the hospital after\u00a0being revived from a near-fatal overdose\u00a0on April 7, 2023. He refused to do a blood test but later admitted he \u201csnorted a powder before waking up in the back of an ambulance.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cRyan Edwards was removed from the vehicle and placed in [an ambulance], where he received Narcan and eventually regained consciousness,\u201d according to an arrest affidavit obtained by\u00a0In Touch<\/em>. \u201cA quick search of Ryan Edwards by EMS turned up a small bag of what appeared to be a crystal-type substance and a second small bag of what appeared to be a blue powder. Also in the pocket was a paper receipt that had been rolled up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Upon his release from the hospital, he was arrested and charged with DUI and simple possession. He was held without bail until his April 20, 2023, court date, where his\u00a011 months and 29 days prison sentence was instated.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s an extreme danger to himself, he died on Broad Street and had to be brought back to life. You would\u2019ve been dead. You should realize that,\u201d Judge Starnes said during Ryan\u2019s April 20, 2023, sentencing hearing, per The Sun. \u201cRehab won\u2019t be good because he won\u2019t do it. He needs to grow up, you know that. You have three kids. You may have some problems with your wife, but you have three kids. I\u2019m trying to save your life.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

MACKENZIE WAS RUMORED TO HAVE A NEW LOVE INTEREST IN JULY 2023<\/h2>\n

Mackenzie was romantically linked to\u00a0Josh Panter<\/strong>\u00a0after his mother,\u00a0Cindy Green Panter<\/strong>, seemingly\u00a0confirmed their romance\u00a0in a June 2023 Facebook post. However, the mom of three\u00a0insisted she was single\u00a0in an exclusive statement to\u00a0In Touch.<\/em><\/p>\n

She has been in and out of the system since she was old enough to catch a charge.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ryan and Mackenzie\u2019s divorce was dismissed\u00a0on February 19, 2024, due to inactivity. \u201cIt is ordered by the court that this case be, and the same is hereby dismissed, without prejudice, with the cost taxed against the plaintiff,\u201d the documents read, according to\u00a0The U.S. Sun<\/em>.<\/p>\n
